Find a lotion with salicylic acid. Salicylic acid will dissolve the oil inside the blackheads and whiteheads from the inside. They will be completely gone within a week.
Here is a good brand that is less than $10: http://www.drugstore.com/qxp163358_333181_sespider/neutrogena_oil_free/oil_free_acne_stress_control_3_in_1_hydrating_acne_treatment.htm

Yeah, its called steam. Hot water will penetrate pours, killing any harmful bacteria on your face.
I recommend doing this,
1)Boil some water then wash your face (or vise-verse)
2) Soak rag or small towel in boiling water for 20-30 seconds.
3)*Take a deep breath* then Place on face (warning: HOT!)
4)Leave on face for about 3-5 minutes (you can lift the bottom part of the towel a couple of times to breath air).
5)wash face again.
This worked for me. I’ve done it only 6 times in a 2 week period.
You can either try this or put a dab of toothpaste on your blemishes.

Hi Gaby. There are two great ways to remove blackheads. Using pore strips or peel off (facial) masks. Those two are specially made to remove a bunch of blackheads from nose, forehead, chin, and cheeks.
Facial masks maybe your best bet only because the tend to remove the hardened oil (sebum) completely, while pore strips not always remove the entire plug only the top part. In other words, masks clean deeper.
You need to use either one only once a week – more often is not necessary and can cause irritation. Fortunately, blackheads contain no bacteria, so there is no bacteria to kill here.
It is always a good idea to do a facial steam before applying strips or masks to get the maximum benefits and comfort out of them. Steam widens the pores and softens the sebum which really facilitates the removal of those hated blackheads, but it is not recommended if you are suffering from sunburn or have a sensitive skin.

There are a million ways to try and get rid of blackheads; the most satisfying probably being a sort of adhesive mask like cloth thingy that you apply for a while and then rip off, taking all the buildups of dirt, grime and oil (A.K.A. Blackheads) with it.
There are also some generic creams and such. I’ve also heard that some people use water temperature to their advantage. Something like warm/hot water to open up pores, then using some exfoliating crap, then they wash it all out with room temperature water and close up the pores with cold water.
I dunno something like that. Anyways, I’d just talk to a dermatologist if I were you.
