What is a good way to get rid of acne?

Im 16 yrs old and I have acne and I am realllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyy tired of it. It doesn't seem to affect the people around me, but it bothers me....... I have like all types of acne (blackheads, whiteheads, redsores, under the skin stuff, etc.) and I have tried prescriptions to make it go away-that didnt work. I've tried homemade remedies-nope!.... proactive, nutragena(sp) and many more. Idk what else to do to make it go away! I wash my face every morning, and I change my pillow cases every other day or so. Any suggestions? thanksssss

  1. Keeping the skin clean is very important in helping to control acne, as taking vitamins, minerals, and herbal supplements, as wells as healthy eating and exercise habits, can be very beneficial.

OVERNIGHT PASTE = Honey, wheat flour, and vinegar, use it to lightly cover a new outbreak of pimples overnight, rinse off in the morning. This should accelerate the healing process.

  2. put honey on your face
and drink alot of milk and oranges

  3. Dudeeeeeeeeeeee im struggling with the same thing too and im 16 years
the best thing i would suggest is BEING PATIENT, and not paying too too too much attention to it. Biecause believe it or not if u think less about ur acne and more on other things then ur acne goes away much sooner.

other than than watch what you eat, eat lots of veggies and drink plenty of water. it will help;p
u seem to be doing fine on stuff like changing pillow cases, so good job.

Also dont spend too much money on all the crap that doesnt work. I got prescribed clindamycin which stoped the growth of acne, so my acne didnt come for like 2 months, but i still had redness and blemishes. U can also ask ur doctor.

So what i would really suggest is either getting a normal makeup cleanser from clinique and a post acne blemish formula like me.. http://www.clinique.com
or a acne treatment such as aveeno clear complexion foaming cleanser…. this cleanser helps with blemishes and acne. u can even check out their site and ask the sales representatives for help.

  4. You have to learn to always wash your face every day some of Acne cream paint.Don’t worry.

  5. Everything seems to change in the human body, when you are going through puberty and your skin is no exception. As the chemistry in your body starts to change through puberty, so too does the amount of oil that your skin releases.

This oil is where the bacteria get trapped, and then you soon start to see blooms of acne form. This is because the skin has a reaction to the bacteria, and it starts to develop sores. These sores are in fact acne.

Another contributing cause of acne is stress, so try to avoid worrying about it so much.

Try eating lots of fresh vegetables and drink plenty of water. Avoid all the junk foods.

Always seek professional medical advice before starting any cure.

The good news is that it will eventually disappear.

  6. I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I’m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I’ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It’s unique cause of it’s herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn’t work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.

  7. do this 2-3x everyday to prevent pimples: the trick is the 3-step process which all acne kits have.

    1. wash. neutrogena w. 2% salicylic acid to fight acne ($6-8 @ walgreens/target)

    2. tone. drip some of it onto cotton. swab face w/ it. neutrogena has a toner w/ 2% acne med (salicylic acid) $6-7 @ walgreens/target

    3. moisturize w/ clinique. $24 @ sephora/ulta

**for spot treatments: CLEARASIL ULTRA. apply immediately when you see a little bump until it goes away. 10% benzoyl peroxide. as strong as over the counter gets. $9-11 @ walgreens/target

listen to a girl that has had acne for 4 yrs now since 5th grade. i’ve learned the ins and outs. and how to control it. so you don’t have to go through what i did.

honey, don’t cry over it. trust me. i was overweight in 3rd grade, got acne @ 5th. it’s not worth it.
everyone gets it. sometimes we all just wanna whine, but trust me, everyone gets it, it’s normal, and we just have to deal w/ it. cause really, boo-hoo! but what can you do about it? go ahead, cry about it makes you feel better, but what i think is more important is how you look AND feel on the inside. cause THAT’s what gets you through life–your attitude, not your face. it’s time you got back up. don’t let acne define you. you aren’t the girl w/ bad acne. that may be true, but is that really all you are?

if it doesn’t work out, it’s fine. but how you feel inside after this is what counts. don’t feak out, don’t cry, and don’t want to kill yourself. but most importantly, you aren’t ugly. you aren’t fat. b/c no matter what I tell you, it’s what you want to hear, and how you act that counts. how you see life. how you see the world. the entire world’s population of teens go through it. should we all just hide inside our homes? should over-weight women nation-wide never see a bikini again?
