What do I do about my ACNE?!?! HELP?
Hello, I am almost 18 years old and I have mild acne. I started getting acne when I was 10 or 11. I have a lot of scars and blotched. I have all kinds of acne like the white puss filled, black heads, red bumps and blotched. I have tried EVERYTHING. I tried most solutions,cleaners,lotion,night cream, 3 step programs. I try them for 2 months ad if it hasn't helped even the slightest, the I change. I have tried organic and non- organic. I have tried home remedies. I have tried Pro-active, Acne Free, Clean & Clear, Burts bee's, Clearasil, Neutrogena, and just about every creme. I have tried masks. I have tried RetinA cream and It helped a bit and I used it for a long time and it made my skin very dry but once I stopped it came back. I used to have SEVERE acne when I was younger and so I went to a dermatologist and she prescribed ACCUTANE and my skin got SO MUCH better. It was great I had clear skin and I took it for two years. I thought it was time to stop. I stopped and nothing happened but after a year I developed bad stomach problems and I have issues with my stomach because of Accutane. And after about a year or two my acne came back, not as bad but It came back mild. It's also getting worst slowly. I tried a Laser treatment for about a year and It helped but once I stopped, It came back quickly. I don't think the laser was strong. I got it once a week and each treatment was . WHAT SHOULD I DO??? Im sorry this is so long! Thank you in advance!
I do use a cleanser, scrub, toner, and moisturizer twice a day. I exercise everyday and I take vitamins.
Any other treatments that do not include cleansers and creams. I need to know about treatments like Laser. Thank you!

The best thing you can do is NOT touch your face. Let’s start there. I recommend you check out acne.org and do their regimen, not for two months, but for about 3 to see if it will work for you. I’m doing it right now, day 3 :D, and in just 3 days my face is clearer. I have moderate acne, but it’s slowly going down. One of the worst things you are doing is putting all these chemicals on your face, just STOP ! your irritating it, which causes more pimples and more stress, thus, more pimples. see the pattern? If you follow the regimen on the site, i’m almost 100% sure it can work for you, don’t add any steps to it. Since you have scars/marks, I recommend you use Raw african black soap from ghana as your cleanser, and crema concha de nacar as the moisturizer which help tremendously with brown/red marks :) also, buy the BP(benzoyl peroxide) from Dan, it’s the best out there. I don’t work for this website(at all, but be careful because people do that here like acneace or something), just feel like helping people today :D because i was going crazy just a few weeks ago like you! another thing that helped me get over the inflammation-pustules-breaking out-going crazy stage was doxycycline, it’s an oral antibiotic which gets rid of most acne. whatever is left, use the regimen. doxy got rid of about 60% of my acne, like the cysts(that HURT!) and all the pustules in my chin and forehead. I recommend you take the doxy and when you start to see change in your skin and it’s calm, start the regimen! perfect combo (: good luck to you.

Wash your face, cleanse, tone and moisturise twice a day Morning and night. Visit your doctor and get a prescribed cream. It will clear.

Use a basis face cleanser. Like Nutrigena….i forget the name of it, but its clear and orange. But just keep your face clean, mine has done the same exact thing. It is prob. the weather changing that is causing a flare up.

For one thing talk to a lawyer. Accutane is being sued. It causes problems like the ones you have had in your stomach. If you watch tv there is a class action againstAccutane advertisment with a phone # you can call. My granddaughter had acne. She used Proactive . Her skin finally cleared up. See if you qualified for the action against Accutane.

There is a kit called Exposed that is 49.95 for a years supply. Exposed has 8 ingredients to fight acne, acne scars, and prevent acne compared to things like pro-active that only have 3 ingredients.

i know u said u have tried pro active but i PROMISE if you use proactive EXCACTLY as the directions say TWICE a day AND EVERY DAY, it will be slow but it will work trust me. the ppl who say it doesnt work are the people who use too much or too little or forget it one day wen they go on vacation OR stop after 2 months. but to make the process faster drink A TON of water. like 9 BOTTLES a day. i swear that helps. i have severe acne-well i did its only mild now but i have used proactive for like 2 months now and its only mild.

I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
I’m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.
Literally the best acne face wash I’ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it.
