What are some good acne medicanes?

I have pimples, blackheads, and stubborn break-outs. I was wondering if anyone knew any kind of medicines or treatments I could use? Thanks for your help!

  1. yeah, anything with Benzoyl peroxide, e.g. oxy "on the spot"

  2. go to the doctor they will prescribe some

  3. I agree – go to the doc. In the interim, get some benzoyl peroxide lotion from the drugstore and use it as directed.

  4. i use proactiv. i didn’t have super bad acne before, but enough that it was annoying. it works well.

  5. clean & clear!! It works 4 me and iv tried proactiv b 4 and sumthing else!! and clean & clear makes different prdoucts for different things!! LIke a black head scrub for black heads!! AND MANY MORE!
    ALso, stridex ance pads!!
    witch hazel toner too!
Or if none of it works,go to the docters and get some!
    GOOD LUCK!

  6. Make sure that you don’t have any abscessed teeth or nothing will ever work . . . You will always have acne . . . No matter what. No visits to the Dermatologist in a lifetime can do what just one visit to your Dentist can . . .

  7. Don’t wash your face with soap, only water. Soap causes dryness, which then causes oily skin…which is the result of pimples and blackheads.

To get rid of pimples….use a disinfectant such as dettol to wash your face with until they go away. Make sure you dilute it with water first though.

  8. doctors medication are expensive. I research everything. I hear the Clean and clear advantage Acne control kit is good . So do some reseach on some treatments

  9. lemon juice! it killed my blackheads like nothing else i have ever used, and i promise you i used just about everything.

    and my zits

  10. It’s not fancy but if you know of a Whole Food store or some organic place get a bottle of all natural witch hazel. It’s clear liquid and mine came in a clear bottle. It’s really cheap too, mine was like 7 bucks

Basically witch hazel is the active ingredient in alot of expensive toners, only it’s more watered down

I’ve only been using it for about a week and my face has cleared up alot, and i had stubborn acne (it was pretty bad too)

Pair this up with drinking alot of water and not picking at your face and it should clear up in no time

  11. i would recommend seeing a dermatologist – they can asses your skin, but up until you go continue to look after your skin with a cleanser which has glycolic acid in it (md formulations) or benzoyl peroxide , a toner and oil free mouisturiser.
Also if you want get a spot creme with either salycilic acid, triclosan or benzoyl peroxide – to help clear up the spots and to try to minimalise the scarring,
