What are great, fast-acting acne treatments?
Okay so i would say my acne is somewhere between moderate and severe. I absolutely HATE my skin and i need something to clear it up. I have tried pro activ and used it for 2 months..it didnt help..now im using nuetrogena treatments (and i havent seen ANY improvements)...also, the toothpaste thing doesnt work on my face, its killing me!!!! i think the problem is that my face is getting too dry from the treatments and its like flaking and dried up, does anyone else have this problem and knows of a good treatment?! please help!!! Oh my goodness. So a few weeks ago I asked this same question.
I have sort of bad acne on my forehead and chin… I’m also 15. I’ve tried everything, biore, st. ives, clearasil, neutrogena, even proactiv and skin id, none of it worked and the last two took a chunk out of my wallet.
I looked up powerful acne cleansers online and found "Clean & Clear Continuous Acne Control Cleanser" it is only about 6 dollars and works amazingly. Within two days I started to noticed my acne being less inflamed, and fading out.
The ingredient that it is it that is not in many other cleaners, it is not salicylic acid like all the other cleaners, it is a power acne fighting ingredient called benzoyl peroxide. If any cleaners have benzoyl peroxide, it is only 2% or 3.5%, but in this cleanser it is 10%, which is almost unheard of.
I recommend it 100%.
Just a tip- if your face becomes dry because of it, you can get a moisturizer to put on afterwards. If your face does not get dry I don’t recommend getting a moisturizer because it just aggravates your skin. So try it, and head back to the store if your face becomes dry. Mine didn’t though… its just a tip.

I’m going to copy and paste this from another question I just answered :)
I use Clean & Clear’s Advantage Kit. I used to be in the same situation as you, but earlier this summer I started using it, and it cleared my skin up tremendously.
It’s not that expensive, and it’s really easy to use. There are three steps, and it all it takes is three minutes, twice a day. Although your skin won’t be completely cleared until about a month or so (the wait is completely worth it, trust me), it will be the same way with other acne products, too. Make sure you ALWAYS use it twice a day for the best results, and even when you don’t have acne, keep washing your face.
Like I said, even though your face won’t be completely cleared until about a month, you will start to show results fast. When I used it, I had clearer skin within a couple of days. You will definitely notice your skin changing as you use it.
I know what it feels like to have acne- it’s extremely embarrassing and it can mess with your self confidence :( Good luck, and I hope you can find relief!
