  1. proactiv does NOT work…trust me….i have literally tried EVERYTHING, and the only thing that works is Cetaphil…you can buy it at the supermarket….and eating chocolate/soda REALLY is bad for ur skin….i used to laugh at that but i literally just broke out after eating alot of chocolate & dirinking alot of soda the other day….also rubbing vodka on your face will clear it up in a few days…hope i helped!

  2. the benzoyl peroxide lotion they sell at acne.org is what finally worked for me…..I had tried everything else short of going to a dermatologist……you have to order it, but they do ship really quickly……

  3. Peroxide.

  4. Greatest thing i’ve ever used is proactiv, 3 step face cleansing system you use twice a day.. may take a little while to start to work, but its definately worth it, i’ve been using it for years! i never worry about breakouts or any huge acne.

  5. Number one thing is be positive. It has never been proven, but i feel the more confident you are, it shows.

I use a face wash once and while, and moisturizer works good. There are two major types of drugs for acne out there benzoyzl peroxide, and salicilic acid (not sure on the spelling) and can be found in just about all products. Normally products have one or the other, not both. Figure out which one works best for you, or neither.
