What acne products work?
Help. I have tried acne products and none work. My zits are causing me to have an extremely low self esteem problem. I have tried, clean&clear spot tratment, proactiv, origins spot treatment, biore stuff, and this stuff a dermatologist gave me. I don't know what to try next. I was thinking mabye Clinique, or neutrogena. But please, if anyone knows anything, please help.

My mother used to always say to me, "I’d trade my wrinkles for your pimples, any day." And I thought "Yeah, so would I." Best thing is to go to a really good dermatologist (saving you lots of time and money on things that don’t work well). Plus there are new treatments available and a doctor can judge what will work best for you. You are so not alone. Try not to stress out about it as much as possible. Stress can actually make things worse. You will get through this. I wish I could have back the times I let this condition affect my life. A good dermatologist really helped, though.

I stongly reccomend the Neutrogena Wave. it has done wonders for my acne. Also, Garnier Face Wash works really well. DO NOT RUB YOUR HANDS ON YOUR FACE. Your hands natural oils will cause more acne. Good Luck!

i use the the neutrogena oil free acne wash foaming scrub. it exfoliates your skin and opens up the pores leaving a tingly feel. use it 2wice a day and soon your skin will be clear of breakouts

if i were you, just go to a dermatologist instead of asking here because some products may work for other people but it may not work or you, worst it may damage your skin.

I use A’kin Sandalwood & Neroli Facewash Gel also same brand toner with A’kin White tea & Aloe Gel Creme. its sold online and in health stores and chemists. My skin is sensitive so when it gets stressed it produces alot of oil and blocks the pores making me breakout big time.it also means the stuff u listed above is unsuitable for me.proactive made my skin blister. maybe try something a bit gentler for ur skin like the A’kin.

I suggest you try VMV Hypoallergenics products. I swear by their Glykeros line, which is their anti-acne line I think. Their products are non-comedogenic (will not clog pores and cause pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, etc.) and hypoallergenic (does not contain ANY allergen)
Check out their website :)
You could ask them for free product samples.

if you go back to the dermatoligist and tell them that the stuff they gave you dosent work for you they will most likely give you a pill that works for everyone but before it works it gets worse but then it will make it go away

You can try this. Calamine lotion has the same drying effect like toothpaste so you can apply it overnight and wash the next day. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/
