Weekly skin regimen for oily skin?

First off i have oily skin and mild acne.I know your supposed to cleanse, tone, and moisturize daily. But how many times a week are you supposed to use a scrub to exfoliate and a facial mask. Also when you use a scrub or mask do you use it after using a cleanser, or just skip the cleanser? Keep in mind i have mild acne(blackhead, white heads breakouts every once in a while) and I have really oily skin.

  1. You do not need to tone. I worked for a well-known cosmetic dermatologist in South Florida, and he can attest to this. You do not need to tone, if anything, it’s not good for oily skin and it can make you break out even more.

People don’t necessarily need to use a face mask, but you can use one once a week. No more than three times a week… it depends on how much you want to do to your face. Don’t use benzoyl peroxide or salicylic masks (avoid BP products in general as they make your skin more oily in the long run…). No need to buy expensive masks, just use yogurt. It is very good for oily skin. Use this after cleansing, leave it on until it dries, then rinse it off. You must use moisturizer afterward.

As far as exfoliating, do not exfoliate more than once a week. Your skin goes through cycles, and if you keep exfoliating more than 2 times per week (like a lot of people unfortunately do), then you end up with bad skin and a lot of the time, breakouts. As with the mask, use the scrub after cleansing, then use moisturizer
