Time for a new dermatologist? I've been seen him for 8 years and my acne isn't gone.?
Should I switch to a new dermatologist? I've been seen him for 8 years and my acne isn't gone. He's been prescribed various forms of tetracycline in the past few years and providing topical medications such as differn and a face wash. Are there other more effective treatments? My acne is isolated mainly to my face and consist of some blackheads and a few of the larger pimples a month. I have health insurance (if that matters).
I am a male.
fyi, aldactone controls hormone levels.

Duac cream works for my cystic acne. Its a prescription, but first use a facial moisurizer, so you dont have a reaction to it. Its has worked miracles for me

Get yourself a treatment that works! I use Zinplex tablets, face wash & gel and it helps a lot. It has no side effects and is fairly cheap! See more at http://www.zinplex.co.za and purchase at http://www.linksfieldpharmacy.co.za It reall works and the face wash & Gel has a great fragrance!!
Good luck
