Sudden Acne Breakouts?! Please help!?
I always had super clear skin and I would and still wash my face alot but this morning when I woke up my forehead was a pale pink and I had a few zits on my forhead, and my nose, cheeks and chin. It was really unexpecting! I need something fast and that will work, because I really feel akward with zits. Lol. I'm not really asking for fast, but that it really has results. I've tried toothpaste but it doesn't work and I've heard it's bad for your skin. I tried the hot water and soap and cold water treatment, didn't work, and I tried the lemon and salt which didn't work. =[[ Please help and thanks.

First of all, you should only be washing your face twice a day max. Any more will irritate your skin, causing bumps and redness. Here’s what seems to work for some people: wash your face gently (don’t scrub hard) with a gentle cleanser (like Cetaphil or Purpose). After that dry your face and apply benzoyl peroxide (2.5%, anything else might be too strong). And then moisturizze with a your fav. moisturizer. This is called the regimen from acne.org and it seems to help a lot of people. You can look at this and more at acne.org. They have a lot of different things and suggestions to help alleviate your skin. Good luck!!

well it really depends on the type of your skin. if i were you i would use neutrogena wash or a type of soap that really specializes in clearing up acne instead of using remedies. also try to use this astringent called "sea breeze" if they still sell it. it really cleans the skin well but it might burn a tad bit. i hope this helps a lot!!!
good luck!!!!

Clearasil makes a product for times like this. Clearasil acne treatment it comes in a small tube. But you said you wash your face a lot you may have dried out your skin. After you wash your face you should use a moisturizer because if you let your skin get to dried out it can cause pimples. Oh you will want to try different mosturizers till you find one you like but don’t go cheap because those don’t work; you have to reapply them several times to hydrate your skin. My preference is Curel, it is about $8 to $9 for 20fl oz.

1) Make a face pack of bran plus baking soda and water. Mix into a paste, apply to the face, leaving on for 15 minutes. Rinse with solution of 1 part apple cider vinegar and 8 parts water.
2) Parsley: Use an infusion of fresh parsley to wash the skin
3) Mint: Peppermint is an excellent antiseptic wash for acne.
4) Garlic: Peel and mash eight cloves of fresh garlic. Apply to face avoiding the area around the eyes. Leave on for about 15 minutes. Wash off with a warm cloth. Finish with a rinse of the vinegar pH balancer.
5) Wine: Breakouts can be controlled by applying wine with a cotton ball, white wine for fair skin, red wine for darker complexions.
6) After washing skin rinse with any of the following herb infusions:
a) chamomile which is purifying
b) yarrow to eliminate toxins
c) catnip which is an antiseptic
d) lavender which is antiseptic
e) thyme which is a strong germ killer
7) Dilute some lemon juice with water, dab pimple with solution to kill germs, cool inflamation and improve blood circulation.
8) Purchase or make your own calendula(marigold) ointment. Apply to reduce inflamation and speed healing. Or make an infusion and apply as a compress to the skin.
9) Lady’s Mantle Acne Remedy
An infusion of lady’s mantle herb is an excellent soothing and healing face rinse

Acne is due to hormonal changes, bad diet and unhealthy skin care habits. Sometimes, dandruff in the hair can also cause acne. Include green leafy vegetables and fruits in your diet. Drink a lot of water regularly to flush out toxins. Avoid deep fried snacks. More home remedies available at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html...
