Success stories with these acne treatments?
I am fourteen years old, and unfortunately bad acne runs in my family. I have had acne since the fifth grade when I was around ten years old. At the moment I have moderate/mild acne on my face, back, chest, and neck, and I fear it's spreading to my stomach, arms, and legs as well.
I have been to two different dermatologists, and I have these medicines:
-Tazorac Cream
-Cepharil Lotions/Moisturizers
-BenzaClin cream
-ProActive
I've been using all of them on and off and either I'm not doing something right or they don't work. Does anyone have suggestions or success stories of using any of those medications?

I have tried proactive & can’t afford much else but do like the daily oil control they sell.
but
In my experience with acne which began about 5 years ago, never in my teens, I have noticed a few things. I like to get down to the root of the problem and always test theories so If your really sick of your acne then washing your face is the key along with drinking lots of water (8-8oz glasses of water a day is recommended but I don’t drink that much of anything in one day). Water is very important because the way I look at it is if you don’t flush all the toxins from your body with water where do they go? Probably out of your face.
I also, mix a lil bit of Alber’s Cornmeal plus honey with a lil water- as a scrub and use daily. The cornmeal brand makes a difference. Once you notice your skin getting better use every other day, etc.
I also use an astringent or if I am too broke to afford, I rub an ice cube all over my face, to close my pores.
As soon as I notice I am too shiny, I splash with cold water or use an ice cube.
My face likes to get oily sometimes so I use pressed powder to minimize that.
I also noticed my nose is the seems to be the start of all my acne, sincethat’ss where the oil starts, so I make sure i use biore strips or scrub really good. I try to push up on the tip my nose weekly, and usually get some gross stuff.
Hygiene is also very important. Make sure you shower everyday because oil comes down from your scalp also. And that is all you need to keep pimples going. Don’t skip washing your hair ever.
I know it seems like a lot but if you are really tired of acne this definately works.
