Skincare regimen for acne? What order to apply spot treatment, moisturizer etc and waiting time…?
I was wondering what was the proper way for skin care regimen. I tried doing a lot of googling, but couldn't find one.
of course first you should use a cleanser to wash your face. after the cleanser, what should be next? moisturizer or acne spot treatment? And how long should I wait to apply it on?
Also if I decide to use a cleansing pad, like oxy (the ones that come in pads that contain 2% salicylic acid). How would this regime work? 1st-cleanser 2nd-cleansing pad? 3rd-spot treatment? 4-moisturizer?
Can someone help me out on this. Also do i need to wait 5 min between each step or can i do one after another right away. thanks.

1st- apply cleanser, wash cleanser off and pat dry 2nd- cleansing pad 3rd- moisturizer, don’t need to wait for cleansing pad to dry 4th- spot treatment, don’t need to wait for moisturizer to dry. I’m positive that is the correct order for a skin care regimen for acne.

Used it myself in the 1960′s. Yeast tablets one a day. Nothing else needed.
Peace.

I always do the spot treatment after the cleanse, and I apply the moisturizer avoiding the areas that are spot treated so that way the treatment isn’t removed. With the cleansing pads only use those on the areas you need to treat you don’t want to over dry the rest of your skin then that might cause irritation or more breakouts. Always finish with a moisturizer. If you have any other concerns feel free to send me a msg. ^^

Personally I really like St. Ives Scrub (the one for acne and blackheads) I use it at night in the shower and then before I go to bed I put on a spot treatment. In the morning I was my face with a more gentle cleanser (like cetaphil) and then after I dry my face with a towel I apply moisturizer. As long as your face is dried off you don’t need to wait a certain amount of time before you put on your lotion. I think you you use the pads you got the order correct.
