Skincare / Proactiv ?
i gett blemishes on my forehead, chin, jawlinee, a little around my nose, but never on my cheeks
so i have been using proactiv for a few weeks now.
i used to clean my face with a bunch of stuff earlier, and my treatment would be the Clean&Clear advantage acne spot treatment.
i started using proactiv, and my forehead and nose are much clearer, but my chin & jawline get painful cystic or very painful whiteheads on them.
i use the proactiv 3step system twice a day, and it works good enough, but the blemishes dont go away on my chin.
what should i use to make my cystic acne go away?
should i buy smthng, or use the repairing lotion , or refining mask or clean&clear spot treatment thing?
it might have to do with a hormone imbalance because i am a teenager, but i dont know how to stop it?

unfortunately if your a teenager it’s probably just hormones, doesn’t help I know best thing you can do is follow a good skincare regime as you seem to be doing, good diet and try not to do too much ie don’t scrub away and use loads of masks ( only use once a week) this is coming from the inside and is not because you are dirty. Get a good foundation ( Spend as much as you can afford) to help hide it it will pass!! good luck
ps don’t pick will only cause scarring which will be there forever

Proactiv is not good for your skin in the long run. It breaks down the sebum on the skin, and your skin produces sebum to protect itself. So if you continue to use it, your skin will be vulnerable to all the outside elements and one day you will be in your 20′s or 30′s and wondering why you’re having skin problems (such as eczema, dermatitis etc.). I would steer clear of proactiv. It works because it alkalizes the outside of your skin. Some people have acne because of a ph imbalance, and if it’s working for you in some spots (except for your chin), then that means you’re one of those people. Proactiv doesn’t work for everybody because other people have acne triggered by other things such as hormones. So my advice to you is to lay off the proactiv, and fix your ph balance by reducing acidic foods in your diet and boosting alkaline foods. Try apple cider vinegar as well, mix two tablespoons in a glass of water, and drink that once or twice a day. Most vinegar is acidic, but apple cider vinegar leaves an alkaline residue that is extremely high in alkalinity. So give it a try or a few weeks and I guarantee you will see a difference.

Proactive wont help, im going to warn u now. No clinical product will. They are full of drying chemicals that will do nothing but hurt the natural beauty and cleanness of ur skin.
Two years ago, I had super messed up skin. I used SkinID and Proactive, Clean and Clear (i used spot treatment too!), and Nutrogena. My mom is a natural specialist and she gave me recipes to make my own natural home remedies. Within one use I felt amazing results. In one week every blemish and impurity had vanished and i haven’t have a zit since(its been two years).
heres one remedy u can make and try out. u will feel amazing after. I based this on what u told me about ur current acne…
One of the best cures for troublesome acne is to mix a tablespoon of groundnut oil with a tablespoon of lime juice. Soak up the liquid with a cotton ball and smooth the remedy all over your face and neck. The oil helps deplete redness and contain moister while the soothing acid from the lime juice cleanses the pores and adds brightness to the skin. If u have dry skin, add a hint of olive oil which cleans and moisturizes deep into the pores. If u have oily skin, add an extra teaspoon of lime juice. If u dont have lime, lemon would work just as good.
Now, are u curious why this is better then proactive? do u know what proactive does to ur skin? All commercials say is that it cleans the skin, and pores. Do u know how? Do u know what chemical cleans them? Ur skin is the most sensitive skin on ur body. When ur skin sends out impurities, its a message to ur skin that things aren’t working the way they should be. So the LAST thing u want to be doing is soaking chemical products into ur skin which can also effect ur future health. Studies say that those products may become a major lead to some types of cancer. Protect ur body the best way u can. Proactive uses complicated chemicals that push the dirt out of ur pores, but the chemicals soak into ur skin. These chemicals really mess up ur skin, causing acne, blotchy skin. When u start using proactive more and more, the chemicals clean out ur pores and more and more soak in. And whats comes of those chemicals? Well if they did anything good, i think proactive would tell u.
Take care of ur body the best u can. You have one life and one skin.
if u are interested in any more remedies, feel free to email me and just tell me a bit more about ur skin and ill make more recommendations.
hope i helped =D

I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
I’m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.
Literally the best acne face wash I’ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It’s unique cause of it’s herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.
You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn’t work it will still save you butt on the return policy.
Well good luck and best wishes.
