Really Bad Acne I Need Some Help, Please?
Okay, so I've looked at some acne questions people have asked and I've noticed that they are kind of broad. They don't mention what skin type you have, how acne prone you are, ETC. So here some stuff about me before I continue-
I'm thirteen
I've got really acne prone skin.
Its kind if oily
Tons of acne scars
No blackheads
Its a genetic thing
It comes from stress(I am guessing).
Okay, so I've tried Clearasil, Panoxyl, Biore and Neutrogena.(None worked for me) I am currently using the Anti-Stress Foaming Face Wash and its helping, some. My face doesn't break out as much anymore, but I still have scars and tiny bumps across my forehead nose and chin. I don't want to use make-up because it won't really get rid of these problems and personally I find that I am too young. I don't want to use proactive because I've heard your skin gets totally dependable on it. I am convinced that my skin works with Salicylic Acid washes, but do they hurt your skin? And also, I've heard of something called Skin ID, is that really good?
I've tried going to dermatologists, but all they can do is get rid of the acne, not the scars. The scars are what I am really worried about.
So my main question here is: What are some good washes, remedies or masks of anything else you've got that can get rid of the acne and the scars.
Okay, thanks!

According to what you said, I recommend you use Cetaphil. Because you have somewhat oily skin, Cetaphil will remove all excess oil, leaving your skin feeling clean and soft. The moisturizer with SPF 15 will also help. Sometimes the cleanser removes too much oil making your skin feel a bit dry. Therefore, the moisturizer will help even out your skin.
Cleanser: Cetaphil Normal to Oily
Moisturizer: For all skin types SPF 15
As for the mask, you can either put toothpaste on or create your own Aspirin mask. They both work pretty well.
For the scars, I heard you have to put lemon juice on the scars, and leave it in throughout the night. I’m not clearly sure if this works. I do not have any scars to test it out. I apologize for that.
I also heard that Cocoa Butter works as well. Even though it’s mainly for the use of stretch marks, it works with either scars, and stretch marks.
I hope that helped. Best of luck :-)

When I had really bad acne, this is what I’d do:
-Use a 2% salicylic acid face wash morning and night.
-Use an oil free moisturizer morning and night.
-Use a 10% benzoyl peroxide spot treatment at night only.
It didn’t really matter what brands I used, as long as I stuck to those particular formulations. However, once I got a little older, my acne subsided a bit… then I got on birth control, and it went away almost completely. So see if your mom will let you get on the pill… sometimes it can be a hormonal imbalance causing your acne.
If you think it comes from stress, you should try to make your life as stress-free as possible. Get a good night’s sleep, meditate/pray/chill out when you feel your anxiety rising, excercise, drink lots of water, and keep a good mood.
As for the scars, I’d see if your dermatologist can give you a glycolic peel or do a microdermabrasion treatment. These can be expensive, and they might not do it because you are so young. But it’s worth a shot to ask.
You say you don’t want to use makeup… but if you try a mineral based powder formula, like Bare Minerals, it can potentially help your skin. It’s very easy to apply and doesn’t look too overdone. It also contains sunscreen, which is very important when you’re using acne treatments.
Salicylic acid isn’t bad for your skin in small doses. It’s basically aspirin… in fact, if you’re having a bad flare-up, you should take a dose of aspirin to help with inflammation. However, don’t take it every time you get a zit, because it can be dangerous for teens to take so much aspirin.

I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
I’m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.
Literally the best acne face wash I’ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It’s unique cause of it’s herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.
You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn’t work it will still save you butt on the return policy.
Well good luck and best wishes.
