Proactiv or Clean & Clear Advantage?

I have oily skin and acne and I am trying to decide what acne treatment to use. I used Neutrogena for a while but I didn't really see much of a difference. So I went to a dermatologist and she gave me some stuff for my acne. But it's been a few weeks and my acne seems to actually look worse.
I want to use Proactiv but it's expensive and as much as I've heard it works, I've heard that it didn't. The Clean & Clear system is cheap and it's seems to work.(After checking out the web site and seeing the commercials, it had me persuaded somewhat.) But I need a real opinion from real people.
Any help here? What acne treatment did you find worked well?

  1. proactiv is awesome. you can see results in 24-48 hours, it is good for your skin and it feels great. it is a bit expensive, but with skincare, i have learned that you get what you pay for. if you get it online you get a free mask, and the mask is really, really good. don’t get on the "automail" plan where they ship a kit to you every few months. if you use the system sparingly and not waste product it could last 3 months or more. good luck!

  2. i thiink proactiv is probally best. if you have acne then use the proactiv and dont be lazy and slack you have to just keep doing it 2 times a day and you will see results. i have proactiv but i dont have acne and i dont have any pimples. i think its terrific. i no it is expensive, but if you go on the proactiv website you can get it for 20$ and its a trial set. i think you should just use the trial month kit of proactiv and see what you think of it. good luck and i hope that helps you.

  3. I have been using Clean & Clear since I was 13, and now I’m 23 and I have had flawless skin ever since. But of course it doesn’t work the same for every person. But it works for most people. Make sure you get the right product for you though. The have all sorts of treatments for sensitive skin, deep cleansing, and black head removers so try out different kinds and see whats best for you.
