is it just regular acne that you can get on your face and even back?
and my friend that goes to the tanning beds a lot gets them too. but i havent been to a tanning bed since april, and i dont remember if i had them after that or not. but i do layout a lot still, and i do use the tanning lotion that i would use when i went to the tanning beds.

  1. I had this and it is a case of pimples/heat boils from sun exposure. Treat them the same way you would treat zits on your face. Applying sunscreen really helps and if you just leave them alone, they will go away within a week or so. Good luck!

  2. Hi LD:

I am a Registered Nurse and I specialize in skin care. First of all, what is your age? Are you a male of female? I am assuming since you go to tanning beds you’re a female. The reason this is important is because of hormonal issues.

Tanning will not typically cause pimples UNLESS you have allergies to the direct exposure to UV rays. However, if you’re still having breakouts there are surely other reasons.

Here is what I strongly suggest: I send all my students and many of my patients to this website: http://www.aboutyourskincare.com

This is an incredible website because you can ask any skin care related questions you have FREE OF CHARGE and you will get your answers by SKIN CARE EXPERTS/PHYSICIANS.

This service is totally free and they carry some of the best acne or breakout products that yield incredible results. I have had my patients use their products for the last 12 years and the results are incredible.

Go to their site, explain to them the situation and I am sure you will get more accurate information. You have to scroll down to the ASK FOR FREE ICON and than send them an email.

They have an incredible drying lotion ( inexpensive) that dryes out any breakouts overnight. I have 3 bottles at home and my patients all have them too.

    Good Luck!
