Pimple free! but.. 10 pts!?

Yeah i had severe back/front/shoulders/face acne..u know the one accutane is the only solution so yeah im 2 months in and im like 98% pimple free(at least its clean on the face! :P) so im 19 now and ive suffered for like 5 years and it made alot of scars on my body(Not the face :) ) so i was wondering is there any creams or stuff i could use to heal partly or fully my scars im just looking for an overall improvement doesn't have to be miracle. Creams or medications..not chirurgical stuff :P I heard tee tree oil is good??? Anyway 10 pts to whoever helps me the most! :P should i wait till my accutane is finished? 2 months left i think i should but :P thanks in advance!

  1. Scars are near impossible to heal with OTC creams.
The OTC creams most recommended are:
    Bio-Oil
    Mederma
& Cocoa Butter (but that really clogs my pores back up)
I definately think that Retin-A helps scars, but u have to get a prescription, which I’m sure u can since u have had access to accutane.
Some people like Pro-Active, but I didn’t think it helped any.
You could contact a plastic surgeon near your area also and ask if they do any type of laser treatments, but u know it will be an outrageous price!!
Good luck to ya… If u find anything else out, get back to me because I have scars too.

  2. try getting your doctor to prescribe tretinoin

  3. you should wait beacuse most teens get acne(i hate using that word) and becuz its clearing up. FOr scarz use tree oil but yea good luck

  4. This stuff is about the best there is for healing up scars: http://www.mederma.com/

  5. you might want to look into dermabrasion because the skin isn’t going to heal with creams etc…. but wait until you’re well and truly cleared of the problem. Are you taking a zinc supplement? and zinc & magnesium in skin creams (ask your pharmacy) are good for helping skin to heal fast, if you should get another spot.

  6. Get some vitamin E oil or Bio Oil. Both are available from your local pharmacy or Health Food Store. Use either oil 2 or 3 times a day, or as directed on the bottle. Either one will help to make the scarring less severe . There is a website for Bio OIl, it’s at http://www.bio-oil.info and it tells you all about it. Also eat salmon (tinned will do) 2 or 3 times a week, as it has beneficial effects on your skin. Tea tree oil is more of an antiseptic, and not so useful for scarring. You can use vitamin E or Bio Oil while you’re still taking Accutane. Hope this helps.

  7. use should try clean and clear oil free Body Wash. It a boy wash and it works. it stings just a little bit but it works. use daily and email and let me know how it works.

  8. Tea tree oil

  9. apply benzoyl peroxide its very effective …
    drink 8-10 glasses of water
apply ice to your face regularly it closes the pores so that would definitely reduce the acne breakout
check this site to find out how to get rid of pimples and its mark , it has good home remedies and info on aloe vera gel hope this helps
