Panoxyl Foaming Acne Wash makes my face red and peel a little?

I have been using Panoxyl for about 3 days now, and while I know it is a little early to tell, the morning after my face was very red, very dry, very tight, (it did not go away all day) and i had a lot of new acne on my foreheard, and a couple of painful cysts on my cheeks (after using Panoxyl foaming acne wash and panoxyl acne treatment foam). I also began to peel a little bit around my mouth and eyes. I do use a moisturizer and spot treatment. Should I stop using this?

  1. Your issues are common ones with many acne treatments. I would stop using it for now. Keep your face clean with a mild soap, water and a cloth – try goat’s milk soap which is gentle. Have a look here. They have dozens of recipes for homemade skin care products. You will find several that could help you with this. One thing you could try is a simple dermabrasion. Mix a little sugar with some olive oil and rub it into your face. It should help. If you are still having difficulty, you need to see a doctor to get prescription medication for your acne.
