The best thing you can do is switch to a truly organic skin care line. Unfortunately, most products, even those recommended by dermatologists, are full of harsh chemicals and toxic ingredients that just irritate your skin. In addition, the main ingredient in the majority of skin care products is just water. I use Blackbox Cosmetics – it’s an all natural, organic, non toxic skin care line that was developed in order to offer high quality skin care at affordable prices. Water is not the main ingredient in any of their products, rather it has been replaced with organic aloe vera, which has amazing healing properties. The products are full of antioxidants, vitamin C, natural botanicals, and they are highly effective on all skin types. They will keep your skin healthy, clear, and looking young! They are marketed as anit-aging products, but work great for acne too.
I had sensitive, splotchy, breakout-prone skin and tried everything! I finally came across the Blackbox line and was hooked after my first use!! There isa Restoration kit which includes 6 products – face wash, morning and evening serum, undereye treatment, microdermabrasion, and body lotion – for a very reasonable price. If you don’t want all of that, get the face wash, am serum (it targets breakouts) and maybe the microdermabrasion (it evens out skin tone). Another cool thing about these products is the packaging. The come in refillable acrylic containers. After your initial order you can get refill cartridges for less and recycle the original.
Check out the website http://www.blackboxcosmetics.com.
You need a sponsor code to order; the code for the girl I order from is rebeccab2899
Hope this helps! :)

Hey! I have soo been in your shoes same predicament except i got flareups on my face wherever they decide to pop up soo annoying i never had a day with completely clear face….tried this and that natural oatmeal mask honey ewwww….nothing worked seemed to aggravate it….well i decided to go to derm. for the first time waited in the waiting room we talked for all of 5 mins or less quick quick! maybe it was just the doctor but she gave me pills to take doryx once a day…retin A micro at night and this benzoyl peroxide with clindamycin or something in it in the morning (i’ve heard derms like to give basically the same stuff to patients for acne(my bf’s cousin had same issues with her face and got the same stuff i think)…anyways another approach my brother had much worse acne than me he had the shaggy beach boy hair that went over his forehead =breakout he swears by the clean and clear 10% benzoyl peroxide persa gel he said in college he would only wash his face with water and sometimes mix in epsom salt and scrub(i use epsom salt to wash as well i like it) he also take ALOTTTT of vitamins and supplements so that could have something to do with his great skin..anyways my skin got really good after using stuff the dermatologist gave me but i forget to use it sometimes cause skin isnt really bad but when i slack the other products i have in my cabinet are the generic family dollar st ive’s apricot scrub(doesn’t contain salicylic acid which irritates my skin and should not be used with benzoyl peroxide), witch hazel(used as an astringent), equate sesitive skin astringent(compare to seabreeze),and a makeup removing cleanser(can’t think of the name lol) …i hope this helped and i wish you the best of luck also a good foundation and concealer does wonders even when i had terrible red acne skin my cousin said my skin looked flawless =) the makeup i use is revlon colorstay foundation for normal skin and maybelline coverstick i use light i think….stay beautiful and confident i know its rough bc i still have flareups (when i’m not consistent)…Bye!
