Oily skin and Acne?

Well, first off.. I have very oily skin on my face but its not the entire face, just around the nose and forehead.. I wash my face mornings and nights and I do use an astrigent.. but once I get to school in the mornings my face soon gets oily again.. and it bothers me because I can't just go to the bathroom 3 times during the school day to wash my face.. and I was wondering if theres anything I could do for that..

And I was also wondering, what product do you think works BEST for both treatment of ACNE and OILY skin and I'm leaning more on face wash products instead of the actual creams (but you can add which ever cream products too)

I've tried
-Clean&Clear.
-Neutrogena products..
-Clearasil products..

So I don't really want those types.. i'm also looking for something that kind of affordable too.. nothing above 12 dollar-ish..

So could anyone recommend a nicely working face wash/cream product for acne/oily skin?
Oh yes, I've tried St. Ives Apricot Scrub.. it's very very bad for your skin. And thanks for the all the answers, I will try an oil absorbing sheet products.. but does anyone have an actual facewash that they'd recommend?

i would maybe like to hear an actual persons point of view..

has anyone tried Biore? I've been seeing some of those around.. and if so What type of Biore Product should I get?

  1. Oily skin is not a bad thing, it’s the bacteria and the yeast that feed off of the oil that cause acne. If you overdry your skin, it will be get irritated and this may lead to more acne. The key to getting rid of acne is not topical solutions. You are better off with a mild cleanser (no soaps and stay away from abbrasive scrubs) and trying to treat acne internally. Drink more water (8-10 glasses per day), eat garlic (or garlic supplements), take probiotics and omega-3 supplements.

  2. have you tried clean & clear oil absorbing sheets? they are great because you can keep them with you at all times, whereas you might not always be able to wash your face (which can dry out the parts of your face that aren’t oily if you wash your face too often). just blot them over the problem areas, and problem solved.

  3. Try St. Ives Invigorating Apripot Scrub. that’s what i use. and then afterwards, i also use clean & clear morning burst moisturizer. but i don’t know if you need a moisturizer. but take my advise and try St. Ives. I LOVE it. i used to have such bad acne, now my skin is like gorgeous!! (not to brag or anything lol)
use it every morning before school and every night before bed. its smells really good too :)
oh ya, and try clean & clear’s oil absorbing sheets (i think thats what they’re called, thats what they do)

  4. Those oil absorbing sheets work great! I’ve been using them for years! Very handy!

They make several acne products for oily skin, you just have to read the labels carefully. I think Neutrogena is best, but I also recommend Biore.

Unfortunately you have to be prepared to pay $12ish sometimes. Its pricey stuff, but it works!! Also I’ve noticed that with most products, a little bit goes a long way. So spending a little extra isn’t so bad!

  5. I also have very oily skin and tried Proactiv. it’s so costly ($45 per kit) and broke me out even more. A friend recently told me about "AcneFree". It’s just like the three step program as Proactiv but it’s only about $15 per kit and i like it much better. I have only ever found it at Wal-Mart. I also use the Clean & Clear oil absorbing sheets everyday, just blot them on your face and they remove all the oil and shine. Hope this helps.

  6. OIL ABORBING SHEETS.
and. i hink you manipulate your skin too much.
if you leave it a lone and let it do its thing with out you messing with it,…. you’ll see how it naturally is.

just dont touch it for a month and see how it works out

in the mean time, any product by clarins works great

  7. I love Biore’s pore-unclogging scrub. It’s really gentle and cleared me up quickly!
