Now that the summer is approaching, I want my skin to stay clear and acne free!!Any tips or info I should know?

Last summer I broke out in moderate-severe acne (a lot of blocked pores on my forehead that lead to bigger ones) and then in the fall I went to the dermatologist and he prescribed me a cream. That was 7 months ago and my acne is gone, all I have left are a few fading pinkish scars that will go away eventually. But I'm worried that my acne will come back in the summer time again, and I cannot deal with that. I just can't.... any tips or info you know that will help me stay ACNE FREE?? Should I call my dermatologist and see what he says?

P.S. Having clear skin means a lot to me because I struggled horribly with it and it led me into depression and losing all my friends. I have picked myself back up and regained friends. I cannot get acne again....

  1. Well fuck those fake friends babe , and you can carry on having a clear skin by eating vegtables avoid eating outside food drink lots of water and dont put too much make up .

  2. Colon cleaning is the latest way to shed weight. Scientists have illustrated the point that not all unwanted weight is due to additional fat, a great deal of weight basically rests there in your insides, and all you need to do is flush it out. http://tegupt.freefatfree.info has a risk free trial on right now, give it a go, you could shed up to twenty lbs!

  3. It would probably be best to consult with your dermatologist before the summer sun hits as he would know more about your specific skin condition than us in cyberspace. But as a general rule of thumb wash your face daily with a mild cleanser and always moisturize at the beginning of the day. Make sure your moisturizer is tailored to your skin type. If you’re prone to oily skin, get an oil free one. Try not to wear lots of heavy makeup on your skin if you can avoid it. Let your face breath. Oh and drink LOTS of water…stay hydrated!

  4. I dont get pimples or spots from pores etc (well I dont think so). I get the hormonal chin acne which is like a big red bump under the skin that takes ages to come to a head, get rid of and then leaves a red mark behind for months! grrrr!

Im on the pill which I think helps but I still get one or two of these spots a month.

What I do though is, put a centemeter of organic apple cidar vinegar in a shot glass (that I nolonger use) and then fill it with water. take a cotton bud and dip in vinegar then dab on lump. if I do this a few times a day as soon as I see the red bump appearing, it does shrink and eventually doesnt make it to a full lump/spot :) just make sure you dont put too much vinegar on as it will leave a red mark on your skin if it is too strong.

    hope this helps

  5. While I disagree that acne would usually lead you to lose all of your friends (it’s your face for God’ssake, who cares that much! If anyone left you bc of that, they weren’t a good friend!)

Remember, don’t aggressively wash your face.
Use a peel or mask once or twice a week to unclog pores
Make sure you use a gentle exfoliant often, but not every day if you have sensitive skin.
If you’re low on cash, sugar actually is a great exfoliant because it is a humectant (natural moisturizer basically)
When you exercise, make sure you clean your face promptly
Steer clear of scented face lotions or products if you have sensitive skin
Don’t use too much makeup, or especially go to bed with makeup, because it clogs your pores
Remember to eat a balanced diet full of omega 3′s (salmon, walnuts), grains, citrus fruits, and overall a lot of fruits and vegetables that will help your skin glow.
Don’t let your skin rule your life, it shouldn’t decide your emotions.
While your acne is gone, focus on making your skin as luminous as possible, keep it in good shape. (cleanse, moisturize, then treat any problems)
