Nodular acne – really painful! Help?
With my period, I always get some SUPER FUN (yeah right) nodular pimples.
I do not break out except for these. I currently have 3 on my face. Warm water, OTC acne washes, Proactive, and even oral contraceptives do little to help. I don't even care so much about the appearance anymore, because I can cover them and there are only a few.
I do care about the pain of these rock hard lumps under my skin. Anytime anything touches them, even strong air pressure causes pain.
How can I relieve them?! I'm ready to just cut my face off to get rid of the pain lol.
Could I drain it with a needle and syringe?

Make sure you reduce your sugar intake drastically and get lots of Vitamin A.
There are cremes you can put on them, usually smelly. But I’ve found chamomile tea bags, warm not hot, are the most soothing.
