From experience, I’ve tried the St.Ives Apricot Scrub about twice a week and it started to make my skin really dry and it peeled. So I cut it down to once a week and it still was too harsh for my skin so I pretty much stopped using it. I currently use Clean Clear Morning burst in the morning and Clean and Clear Oxygenating Fizzing Cleanser at night. They both work really good and make your skin feel really clean and soft. I also use a few products from my dermatologist with the products. My skin is just about almost flawless. You can buy the Clean and Clear products from CVS or Walgreens.

St. Ives works really well, also you should try "Cetaphil" it’s a daily face wash and that also works really well;)

I prefer not using anything with alcohol in it, because it tends to over-dry your skin, which in turn makes you produce more oil to compensate, which makes you break out even more. If I had to use one, I’d try St. Ives. Stear clear of Stridex and things like that.

i love Neutrogena products. it’s gentle but gets the job done. i recommend a daily scrub by them and the vanishing formula you were talking about. also stridex pads work well. they get make off and you can feel it cleaning your face. never tried st. ives. maybe you can borrow your friend’s and see if you like it.
