Need advice on Acne treatment?
To give a little background, I have had moderate acne for about 6 years (im 18) and have tried an array of things. I tried Proactiv, Neutrogena, and all of the other over the counter acne treatments. I finally went to a dermatologist last year and was prescribed Epiduo gel and the antibiotic Doryx with no luck. Then he prescribed Benzaclin to me (Benzoyl peroxide with Clindmaycin) and that reduced my acne dramatically. But i still have mild acne and will get the little zits on my cheeks and cysts on my chin. I hate Benzoyl Peroxide because it dries out my skin (Prob why im still breaking out) so any advice would be greatly appreciated!! (By the way I am htinking of trying out Pronexin, any thoughts on the product would be great)

My doctor gave me a prescription for Dalacin T, it’s clindamycin phosphate topical solution USP: 1% clindamycin (I don’t know what that means, just letting you know). It works great! You apply it to your face every night and it’s an anti-biotic and my whole face has been clear for a week! It also worked really fast. The best part was that it’s covered by medicare (are you in Canada?) and is free! You need a prescription though. Ask your doctor for advice, he/she’d know best :)

I used accutane for about 9 months because I had severe acne. I’ve been off accutane since october of last year and I only break out when I don’t wash my face for a few days, (and by breakout I mean i get a tiny bump on my cheek) I haven’t had a white head or a black head or a cyst or anything. Seriously, it did wonders for me. I have hardly any scarring and I can actually wash my face and use toner without drying the crap out of it. I think I used to dry out so bad because it was drying out the acne. The only noticeable side effect from accutane I still have is a little back pain, but it’s not bad at all.
Like you, I tried everything from pro-activ, neutrogena, and all other brands of acne creams and washes and nothing worked so I finally gave accutane a try. I also used retin-a when i was younger but that didn’t help anything.

The only real option left would be Accutane my friend, talk to your dermatologist. And don’t worry, Ive been through what your going through, it’ll get better i promise.

I recommend use Acneace!
I used it, and after 1 months, my acne was COMPLETELY gone!
