if you just started using it,your skin might be adjusting to it..if it gets worse change your product….or even try lotion after you put it on :)

you may be allergic to bp. That is usually the first sign. Then you’ll become swollen and start itching. That is just one possibility. Try a milder solution or another brand that has saylitic acid instead of bp. I developed a severe allergy to bp after using it frequently.

if you use it more than once a day, your face could be getting irritated because it’s really dry. so, either cut down to using it once a day or moisturize afterwards

you probably have very sensitive skin, and this is just way too strong for your skin. you may have to stop using it and get a special kind of acne cream made for sensitive skin.

you’re probably allergic to it but i mean that happens to me sometimes too and i just try not to use it all the time and that helps a lot with the irritation.

I would use cetaphil. It is perfume free and works wonders! Or go to the doctor and have them prescribe you some retin-a micro, differin, or pills to take.

the same thing used to happen to me! i stoppe using benzoyl peroxid b/c i was semi-allergic. i would recommend trying a different face was for about 2-3 weeks and seeing what happens. if the results are better then the Acne Free Severe treatment system, then stick with it
hope i helped!!

well if its "severe" you should only use it onece a day then use like a basic face wash or something like when you take a shower at night or something then like wash your face with like..idk..soap or something in the morning..so then you dont irratate it too much

dont listen to some people. anything with benzoyl peroxide in it can take some time for your skin to get used to if you have never used it before. you can start by using it only once a day and after a week or so move to twice a day. trust me skin takes time to get used to this product and some people with sensitive skin take longer. however if your skin ever becomes red and irritated for a LONG period of time, then consult a dermatologist.

The same thing happened to me, just don’t use it as often, that should keep it from irritating your skin. Using it just before bed is a good idea. :)

You are putting chemical poisons on your face designed to burn off anything you don’t want on your skin. It’s supposed to work that way. My acne problems stopped when I stopped using toxic cleansers and started eating healthy foods. No junk food, no caffeine, no sugar, avoid anything with pesticides, no pop, no chemicals and of course, no smoking. I’d avoid all make up too. To this day if I eat something bad or use something toxic (even soaps), my face breaks out. Instead of trying in vain to burn the problem you created with your diet, fix your diet and your unnatural habits. Yeah, I know, most people would rather do what they want, suffer the consequences and then try to fix it with some fancy treatments. Life isn’t always that easy.

You probably be allergic or maybe the product is too strong for your face. At first i used neutrogena… but it didnt do anything for me.. so i used proactiv it was more better a little stronger.. to take care.. of my acne. try a different product, everyone’s skin is different :)

Cutting down the number of times you use the products is a good ides. You should just use it once every other day at first and then once a day and then the recommened twice a day. If it is still a problem than switch to another medication containing either a lower dosage of benzoyl peroxide or use another kind of medication. If this doesnt work than you many need to see your dermatologist for prescription medication. Just know that it will take longer than the two weeks claimed by most otc medications to see improvement so dont be disappointed when you dont see results right away.

when you put on the acne scrub dont hardcore scrub it into your face. if you just started using this it may cause your face to become red and irritated. i know that when i started using proactiv my face reacted weird to the face refiner (benzoyl peroxide). just down the dosage to once a day. thats about the only thing you can do D:
