Night:

Biore Astringent
Olay Complete Moisture Cream
Neutrogena Acne Stress Relief 3 in 1 Acne Treatment
--I've been thinking of switching to Neutrogena Acne Stress Relief Power Foam Wash (for my night routine). Does it work well?

I can tell you with almost 100% certainty your acne is caused by hormonal imbalances. you have excess androgens (male hormones) i do too.
the best method is trying a birth control pill that blocks androgens like Yaz or Diane-35 (for more severe cases) or you can try natural methods like takin Saw Palmetto which has helped with my awful acne :) you can buy it for $10 at your local health store.
any other methods like proactiv, zeno, etc are just temprary and superficial fixes for a deeper problem honey. go see your doc.

When I had trouble with acne I went to the doctor after trying everything else…. He prescribed me a very low dose antibiotic for two weeks and in no time at all it had cleared up!! I do not understand why they don’t give this information to their patients, It really does work but I think they only give them out as a last resort…… Tell him all the things you have tried and its just getting worse….. I wish you well Good luck!!

well all of the clinique acne products work much better than those products. but sticking to walmart- dont use the scrub. . . my dermotologist and all of the people ive talked to that are experts all say that this only worsens acne. It irritates your skin no matter which one you use. Make sure the products you use are all oil free. . . and after you workout if you dont have time to wash your face or also throughout the day use oil blotting sheets to remove excess oil. Biore has some and so does Neutrogena. Any brand will work as long as they are unscented. It removes the oil w/o removing your makeup

i used to use the clean & clear advantage line and it worked pretty well but then i started exercising more and it got worse too. i went to the dermatologist and they told me my skin type, some things that would help prevent it in the first place and they gave me a prescription. my skins virtually perfect now and instead of using like ten products every day like i did before, i only have to use one and it really works!
a couple really easy things to help prevent acne that the dermatologist told me are- taking showers every day and not just washing my face, and drinking as much tea and water as i possibly can

First of all: TOO MUCH! Your poor skin is getting stripped :(
I would recommend Proactiv, because it really is the best. Even if you can only afford the cleanser, you don’t really need the toner or the lotion. The cleanser is only about $13.
If you can’t afford the Proactiv cleanser, switch to a exfoliating wash, only. You don’t need an astringent or toner. Even if you see little black things on a cotton ball or tissue paper, that is your natural oils–natural oils that your skin needs.
Then use a lotion that isn’t acne-based. I think the one you use now (Olay) is probably good.
Don’t pick or wear oil-based make-up. I would use freshMinerals or something or the sort (knock-offs are just as good shhhhhhhh!) that are lighter on the skin.
I’ve included the link to the online Proactiv store. You might be able to eBay it, too.
I feel you, I had acne for years and Proactiv and Bare Minerals have REALLY helped me!
Good luck, hun!

i have the same problem so i went to the doctor and got a prescription. its a type of gel that you put on your face once or twice a day, and after a few months my acne went away. but i dont have good acne. after it went away i stopped using the prescription because i thought that was it and i wouldn’t have problems again but it all came back 2 months later. the doctor says its got something to do with my hormones because im 15 so i dont know if the same thing will happen to you. i also think that if i hadn’t stopped using the prescription my acne probably wouldv’e stayed away. but i still use the prescription and it keeps some of my acne away so i dont have as many as before. you should ask your doctor for some type of gel to put on your face and that should help.
