Just another teenager with problems with acne?

I have whiteheads (and some blackheads) and they leave red marks all over my face! And it's not just my face, it's also my back and chest. Please help me!! To be more specific, how do I get rid of these stupid red spots!?
I have combination skin by the way.

  1. well to stop the acne in general you should drink water! at least the recommended amount (about 4 bottles a day.) Even if you hate water, stick with it. you’ll get used to it. promise =] now it only feels right for me to drink water which has helped with my weight as well. anyway. drink alot of water. wash your face in the morning and before you go to bed. you’ll see results in like a week. i did anyway.

to get rid of the scars you’ll have to either wait them out for a few years/months or buy some stuff. i know one is the neutrogena acne mark face peel. proactive has some that you can buy as well. im sure there are more kinds. and also you could probably get some ‘home remedies’ online to help rid yourself of scars.

    hope this helps!

  2. I have a problem with acne too. I suggest that you use Neutrogena gel cleanser twice a day (morning & night). Use the Neutrogena scrub at night after using the gel. Get the Clean & Clear tonic and use a cotton ball to apply it to the places that have zits. If you want, you can just use witch hazel or rubbing alcohol; it has the same effect on me. I recommend witch hazel because it isn’t as concentrated with alcohol, so it dries out the zits but not your face. Use some kind of moisturizer regardless of what you use. I use mine once a day. Get the St. Ive’s Blackhead Clearing Apricot Scrub to use in the shower. I just use a washcloth to wash my back and chest with the apricot scrub. The St Ive’s has worked really well for my back and chest. The red bumps should go away if you wash your face regularly, but if not ask a dermatologist about it and they might give you prescription strength face wash stuff. Take fish oil pills or eat fish a lot because the Omega 3′s are good for your face and can clear up your skin. I hope I helped because I know that acne can be really annoying.

  3. well i use to have the same problem but a little worse. i don’t suggest seeing a dermatologist. they just put you on all sorts of different meds and your skin wont react well. neutrogena is GREAT for skin problems. and make sure you take all your makeup off wen you sleep. i know myself how much of a problem that is! i wear like half a bottle of black eye liner a day.

  4. idk about you, but my doctors is free, i went there and they gave me some lotion thats really working!

  5. Cleanse your skin…
    1. Make a lather of soap and water and apply the lather to the skin.
    2. Let the lather stand on the skin for 15 to 30 seconds.
    3. Rinse the skin with warm water, and, finally,
    4. Pat the skin dry with a clean towel.

    Avoid excesses of:
    1. Tomatoes, which are a rich source of lycopene that stimulates skin oil production,
    2. Leafy greens, sea vegetables, and seafood, which contain large amounts of iodine, which can cause the skin to break out, and, as you might expect,
    3. White sugar, which encourages the formation of inflammatory hormones.
