Is this cystic acne? What kind of acne is this?
I get really weird acne! Sometimes I get blackheads or surface pimples, and those I'm not to worried about. But sometimes I get these hard bumps that feel like they're way under the skin, and after a few days you can see dark blue/purple pools of liquid under the surface of my skin where the bumps where. I can't pop them usually with my fingers so I poke them with a pin to let the blood drain. Sorry if this is gross, but its like dark blood with a bit of puss particles in it but it's mostly blood. And if I can't pop it it usually goes away but it takes usually a month, sometimes less, sometimes more. And then it just fades away. This is weird... I think it might be cystic acne, but why is it so much blood and hardly any pus? Any good treatments for this?
For everyone who thinks it's gross, grow up! It's just a bodily problem. If you didn't want to know, you didn't have to keep reading.

yes that is cystic acne! I get them to and it sucks… don’t poke, pinch or puncture them…you are risking scarring your face. Let them heal on their own…and if you feel the urge to pop them….take a hot wash cloth and put it over the acne….keep repeating (when the wash cloth cools) until it starts to drain on their own. Once it is fully drain….put some hydrogen peroxide (or tea tree oil) over the open sore and clean it really good. The hydrogen peroxide has oxygen and once bacteria is in the presence of oxygen it cannot live…so you kill the bacteria down to the root. Tea tree oil does the same thing. It cuts the healing time down by half.

See a dermatologist if possible. They will probably prescribe Accutane, a very effective drug for acne. "Over the counter" treatments are useless for the type of acne you are describing.

Yes, it sounds like it is cystic acne. The reason why there are more blood than puss, is that because the infection and puss is so deep into the skin. I f I were you I would go to a dermatologist because store bought good will not fully make those go away.

It sounds like cystic acne. Im not exactly sure how it works, but it is basically caused by a pustule forming under the skin. The best thing to do is leave it alone and try not to cause it to drain (poke it with a needle), otherwise you may develop deep scarring from them. Your best bet is to see a dermatologist and have them take a look, they may prescribe you an antibiotic or topical to help combat it, or they can inject it and bring the swelling down.

Yes, quit trying to pop them….it won’t work. It’s cystic acne and more than likely a bacterial infection UNDER your skin. A dermatologist can help you with this. If you try to pop them, you are going to be sorry. You will have deep deep scars that will last a lifetime.
Go to a dermatologist.
