   If taken as directed, it’s a good and effective oral contraceptive with very few complaints of side effects. It is also the most frequently requested birth control pill by dermatologists because it often greatly reduces acne in the women who use it. Most dermatologists will not prescribe it, for that reason, but will suggest it and then patients will receive the prescription from their primary care doc or an ob-gyn upon the dermatologist’s recommendation.

   Well I’m not sure about the acne part but i do know that it helps prevent you from being pregnant.

   Yea. It helps with acne too. At least it cleared mine up considerably.
