is my acne treatment working when it stings?



i am using a product to treat my acne and the main ingredient is salicylic acid. when i put it on, it stings. does this mean that it is working?

  1. It means you’re likely putting it on open skin, which you’re not supposed to do.

    But salicylic acid is very bad for drying out the skin so you may need to consider using less treatment or moisturizing more frequently.
