Julia,
There is NO home remedies that work as well as benzoyl peroxide. I have no idea which product specifically you are talking about from clean and clear, but if it is not Clean and Clear Persa-Gel, then I cannot tell if it is good or not. You need to list the names correctly. If you have oily skin, you do not need a moisturizer (unless you have dry patchees) because your oil is your moisturizer. I have answer similar question and got best answer. You should quit using those products you are using now because they can contain ingredients that irritate your skin and make breakout worse.
If you want an organized acne system that takes the guess work out for you, give Proactiv a try. Acne.org also contain a system that is cheaper because you get more product per dollar.
I will propose a skin care routine for you to consider. Rule of thumb: avoid harsh soaps; avoid heavy skin care or cosmetics products; eat healthy; get adequate sleep; change pillow cases weekly.
Overview: Cleanser (AM/PM) –> exfoliate (AM or PM) –> acne medication (AM/PM) –> sunscreen (AM).
Cleanser – Try Olay Foaming Face Wash. No Fragrance or colorant (nFoC)
Exfoliant: Neutrogena Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment with 2% salicylic acid (SA) . This product does contain fragrance and coloring additives, but they are both at the bottom of the list. If you have sensitivity to those ingredients, then try Paula’s Choice 2% beta hydroxy acid “gel” or “liquid” version, either one is good. SA is a excellent for acne & blackheads because it is acts as a triple threat; that is, it functions as an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and an oil-soluble exfoliant. All three of these benefits help kill acne bacteria, soothe the skin, and exfoliating the pore lining to dislodge any clog to permit a better flow of oil. If you are allergic to aspirin, then you should avoid SA. Your next alternative would be using a glycolic acid or lactic acid-based product such as Paula’s Choice 8% Alpha Hydrox Acid with glycolic acid (pH f 3.5-3.8) with nFoC. Try ease up the application of chemical exfoliant if you have low tolerance for it at first. For example, try to apply it every other night, or every third night, or once a week and gradually increase application frequency. Or, you can apply the chemical exfoliant for 5 minutes and rinse it off; do this for a week and increase leave-on application as you achieve higher tolerance for the acid. I do not recommend scrubbing because you are so inflamed right now, and scrubbing can irritate and make it worst.
Acne medication: Hands down the gold standard for treating acne is benzoyl peroxide (BP). The FDA and deemed it to be safe and effective. The drugstore has a few good options, too. Research has shown that a 2.5% BP is just as effective as 5% or 10% BP without the irritation. However, if your skin has a more aggressive form of acne, you may just want to try a higher concentration of BP. Oxy Clinical Clearing Treatment has 5% BP while Clean and Clear Persa-Gel contain 10% BP. If you have sensitive to BP, an alternative may be sulfur-containing product such as Clearasil Adult Acne Treatment Cream, Tinted with 8% sulfur and 2% resorcinol; however, this product can be “strong” so do a patch test to be on the safe side.
Sunscreen: Sunscreen is absolutely important for any skin type. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Liquid Sunblock SPF 55 is a must to try because its liquid consistency and mineral silica leave a matte finish. How long the matte effect last depend how active your oil glands are, so you may want to blot throughout the day. You do not need any fancy paper to do so because a tissue paper is just fine. If you have sensitivity to synthetic sunscreen agent, then your alternative has to be sun product with just titanium dioxide and/or zinc oxide. They provide board-spectrum product with high safety profile and almost no irritation potential because of their inert nature. Neutrogena Pure & Free Liquid Sunblock SPF 50 with 5% titanium dioxide and 3% zinc oxide is a great option with nFoC.
Result? Be patient and compliant for at least 2 months. If your acne persist or is non-responsive to these methods, you need to visit a board-certified dermatologist for prescription options such as Retin-A Micro or Differin or even accutane (isotretinoin). Isotretinoin shrinks the oil glands–> no more oil –> no more acne or blackheads. Your doctor will discuss the side effects and risks with you
Best wishes

My dermatologist told me to use Panoxyl face wash. Walgreens-very generic looking bottle, it bleaches towels so be careful. Use every other day (or less) it dries your face out big time! Their acne spot treatment is miracle stuff. No joke.
Beyond that, try not to mix brands. Stick with just one for lotion and wash. Don’t forget to always wash face at night with an exfoliating face wash.

I use the clean and clear moisturizer also. You should use the Clean and Clear acne wash also before you put on the moisturizer. Twice a day, once in the morning, once at night, and put on the moisturizer at least three times a day between.
Drink LOTS of water and eat fruit + vegetables, get at least eight hours of sleep every night, and try not to stress out.
Home remedies…sometimes I’ll mix strawberries and plain yogurt and leave it on my face as a mask until it’s dry, then wash off. Leaves my face looking clean and smooth.

Vinegar.Vinegar is the enemy to all blemishes. Not to mention tomatoes, but I strongly suggest vinegar.Use vinegar as a toner, and I went throuhg the same things as you did,and by using vinegar poof! all gone.Use vinegar as a face toner. Also when you go into the shower, put some on before getting in ,then wash off.I have been using the Neutrogena wave too.I would say its really good!! It keeps acne at bay and gives your face a really good massage.

Sometimes it’s just hormones acting up,
sometimes it’s the food you eat,
and sometimes it’s other things.
Although many people say that food does not cause acne,
it’s still a good idea to cut out any junk food out of your diet.
It also helps if you:
1. Don’t touch your face (except when you are cleaning/moisturizing it)
Hands/fingers are dirtier than you think, and can spread bacteria on your skin.
Try to catch yourself when you are resting your cheek on your hands, itching your face and such.
2. Clean towels and pillow case.
Change pillow case at least once a week.
3. Hair products are bad for your skin.
When shampooing or using hairspray, etc.
Try not to get it on your face!
Try to keep hair away from your face, too.
4. Use lukewarm water to wash your face,
because too hot or too cold can be irritating for your skin.
Sometimes you just have to let it run its course and it’ll be gone before you know it.

Puberty.
I had the same condition 2 years ago and now my skin is flawless (if I do say so myself) lol.
With time and patience everything will be solved.
For now just apply salt water every night before bed after you wash your face. Maybe put some lemmon on your face as well for about 5 minutes.

There were totally 15 moles / black spots on my face and body before, I tried this mole remover and most of my moles were gone right now. But please pay attention, don’t over use in order to avoid getting scar. Hope it works for you too.
For more information, please see the following using methods, it is very useful for unwanted moles, beauty marks, black spots.
BRAND NEW DIY MOLE VANISH WART REMOVER
10 ML Skin Care non-Laser Removal
Usage:
(1) Clean the nevus and the area around it, use a toothpick (do not use a cotton stick to tip or wipe) to mix the liquid and sediment, and then tip a little amount of the mole remover and apply it onto the middle of the nevus. The area would turn to white colour after 1 minute. Use alcohol or water to clean the mole area after 10 minutes (If you tip the amount of mole remover properly, you don’t have to clean). The mole would peel off (May help with finger) in 8 to 20 days. Repeat the process again until the mole peeling off if the colour of the nevus is dark. (it is suggested applying the liquid to nevus on hands or legs first to see the results and learn to control the usage before applying the liquid to other areas of the body, DON’T TRY on FACE for the first time!)
