   Zit Prevention Plan

   Preventing zits…Steps to stop the eruptions

   Here are some tips on reducing and preventing zits. But remember, even if you practice good hygiene and have healthy eating habits, chances are you’ll break out at some point. It’s normal.

   1. Wash

   Wash your skin morning and night with a gentle cleanser that cleans your pores without drying your skin (don’t use grainy, harsh scrubs since these can actually cause acne). i recommend you use neutragena pink grape fruit oil free acne wash.

   2. T-zone

   Some areas of your face, like your forehead, nose, and chin (often called the T-zone because it’s shaped like the letter T) might be oilier than the rest of your face. So treat it differently: wash it with a non-oily cleanser.
   3. Water

   Drink a lot of water. It helps flush away impurities.
   4. Foods

   Although foods cannot cause zits, some people find that what they eat affects their skin. So say hello to healthy food, like fresh fruit and veggie snacks and see-you-later to chocolate and greasy foods like french fries and buttered popcorn. If you think you get zits after eating certain foods, keep a list and avoid eating too much of them or eating them at all.
   5. Relax!
   Anxiety and stress can cause the adrenal glands to make more hormones, which can cause zits to suddenly pop up. You have a lot going on in your life, but try to take time out for a walk or yoga or whatever works for you.

   also i recommend you buy a bottle of tea tree oil [it works trust me there was a big improvement in my acne the the first time i used it. you can buy it at CVS or Wal Mart or Walgreens. you put it on a cotton ball or cotton pad and put a thin layer of it on your face. (you may feel a tingling sensation on your face for up to a minute or half a minute [first couple times] ) and it’s cheaper than spending $30.00 plus shipping and handling on proactive

   There is no fast way of getting rid of it. The products you are using are mostly peroxide. The best thing for you is to keep your skin really clean and keep your dirty hands off your face. You have already invested a lot of money so now, try what I have this. Good luck.

   I would definitely go with proactive. I have acne but when I use it my face is really clear. Make sure you use it twice a day though. All the stuff they sell in stores don’t work.

   well i pretty much have/had the same problem as you i have T-zone acne as well and i have proactiv and such. my advice to you would be stick to one type of facial cleaning thing. my choice would be proactiv, use it as shown, twice a day, morning and night. and drink atleast 4 large glasses of water a day (trust me the water makes a HUGE difference) and dont touch you face with you fingers. also before you wash your face -for blackheads- gently scratch your nail across blackheads. then wash your face. and they will be easier to get rid of faster

   Throw all that junk in the trash and start eating your vegetables and washing your face twice a day and moisturizing.

   Or…..Use the Proactive with refining mask…period. Unless you have blackheads, the blackhead cream and nasal strips won’t really help you much.

   Follow up with the Warming Facial Mask twice a week. Within about 10 days you should see a difference in your skin tone.

   If you decide to refrain from putting all those chemicals IN your body, you will be a lot healthier in the long run, tho.

   And, after you get rid of the acne, keep it away by using good old H2O2 on a cotton ball at night before bed. You can get it at the drugstore/Walmart’s/grocery store for $.98 for a quart.

   I would use these

   Proactiv Cleanser and Proactiv with Refining Mask or
   Neutrogena Extreme Acne Care Step 1 and Proactiv with Refining Mask

   I am using the IQ derma acne clear remedy system I have suffered form acne all my life and so far this stuff is working.I even have it on a free trial so effectively it is free to try but I am definately gonna carry on with the course.
