i REALLY need help with my acne!!!!!?

ok...so im 13 and i have reaaallllyyy oily skin. i only get pimples on my t-zone area. i have about 5 or 6 redish not HUGE but bigish pimples on my forehead. and then i have 3 red ones on my chin and a couple around my nose. and then the rest of my tzone area is covered in tiiiinnnyyyy little skin colored pimple bump things....when i put on concealer and foundation their not that noticeable...but it your like talking to me like sitting next to me you can see them. i use cetaphil cleanser for oily skin twice a day. and on the big red pimples i use clean and clear acne spot treatment just on the pimple. ive been using this routine since about a week ago. nothings happening. the pimples on my forehead have gone down a bit but their as red as ever. i mean i know im a teen and im going through puberty and everything but its bugging me so bad. it brings down my self esteem arow to negative 100. my bad skin makes me feel so ugly. =( my mom said "oh sweetie your acne isnt that bad you dont need to go see a dermatologist. your just going through puberty and theyll be gone soon enough". we cant really aford to go to a dermatologist anyway. and we cant afford to get me any expensive products. but i do have a job and so i guess if thats what it takes i can buy a product that will help. but ive tried a lot of stuff....and nothings working..and my hope for cear skin is almost out. all my friends have clear beautiful skin and their my age and for some reason they dont get acne...uuugggghhhh I HATE ACNEEEEEE. everybodys like "oh use this product it works miracles" blah blah blah...i try it and of course it doesnt work or it makes my face worse...PPLLLEEEAAASSEEEE HELLLPPP MEEEEE!!!!!

  1. im 13
i dont get acne becuz i bathe every day
but if i skip 1 day then i start gettin blemishes

  2. Go to a dermatologist. The medicine he gives you will make it worse before it gets better but it is worth it.

Also Cut back on wearing makeup and scrub your face twice a day.

  3. use a paper bag with 2 eye holes i found that worked for my cousin

  4. USE RETINE

  5. Try Proactive, Skin ID, Epiduo (doctor prescribed), Differin (doctor prescribed), University Medical or Neutrogena.

  6. Use your parent’s health insurance and go talk to a dermatologist. Tell your mom you don’t care if it isn’t that bad but you would feel better if you got a professional opinion. If you don’t get it treated now, if could potentially get worse and cause scaring or blocked pores. You are at the awkward stage of puberty but if you nip this problem in the butt now, you will look forward to your high school years.

  7. try acne free trust me i had oily skin like you and two week you are cured but if you use three times a day maybe three days cure lol

  8. okay, calm down. acne happens to a lot of people, and you cant really help it. there are a bunch of acne cleaners and lotions. it probably woould be better to get the expensive ones, but yeah. not all the products will help, sometimes it will just make it worse. you should talk to your doctor and ask which one is right for you. its always good to have a doctors opinion.

  9. I know people that have worse be happy your not that bad,
But you should try talking to your doctor about this.
    Doctors really can help.

  10. I have acne too in between my eyes :( i hate it but i try to use Clean `N Clear every day and you can see results the next day!! no kidding!

  11. Go to your doctor and seek help.
Wash your face everyday with soap.
Avoid Fizzy Drinks and Oily foods.
Avoid putting products on your face.
If you do want to use something, use natural products.
To reduce the redness, use ice on them.
Then you can use Rose Water, used in cooking, apply on your face, let your face absorb it, and tada, in a week your face will be cleared up, most of it anyway.
If not, use Amla Powder, It’s a mudpack, put on your face, leave for 30 minutes, use for 7 days. Works Wonders :)

  12. I had the same problem.
    What I would do is
    1) And this is really important! Drink WATER!!!! Lots of it. It cleans all the crap out of your body that might otherwise find its way out via your face.
    2) Dont eat overly oily/fast food/junk food
3)Wash youre face after youve been wearing make up.
    4) Think about changing whatever make up you have. My skin is super sensitive to being covered up all day but when I changed to a different brand it solved the problem.

  13. What most people never realize is. Acne is a ‘medical’ kind of thing, its a dermatologist kind of problem. I suggest if its really that bad, wash your face all the time and try to stop touching your face and what not. Have you tried ‘skin ID’? it specializes your very own skin type so it is more likely to work than the leading brands your friends are using and telling you to use.

I hope this advises you a bit.

  14. i use the facewash Cetaphil and if you go to a dermatologist they can prescribe stuff thats right for u.

  15. Same as me 2 years ago. I went to clinic and ask the doctor to give a cream that make my acne go away. She gave me a 45g of cream and she told me to rub it on my skin twice everyday, once in the morning and once before sleep. 1 month later, my acne is 85% gone.

It also reduces pimples and you can rub it on your oily surface of your skin. I rub it on my skin everyday to make my skin soft.

  16. I had acne at an early age also and i tried everything even proactive it worked for a while but them it wore off and i had acne again so i went to a dermitologist and now im on some great medicne it really works but the doctor will perscribe what he thinks is right for you so i would go to the doctor! hope i helped!

  17. You should put a dab of toothpaste on each pimple before you go to bed at night. It will dry in a few minutes and you can wash it off in the morning. Just make sure you dont get it in your hair! It has to be a white toothpaste though. I use arm & hammer. The colored kinds don’t dry like the white kind. And you should NEVER touch your face other than that! Buy a face wash for oily skin and use it twice a day. Hope that helps. Good Luck!

  18. my face used to break out alot but i started using olay. olay has a cleanser for blemish control. its by olay total effects. its only around 7.00 which is about the same price as the other kinds they sell. and only wash your face once a day unless your face gets dirty. washing it twice a day will not make the oil go away. if youre worried about the oil, use oil blotting sheets. hope this helps

  19. IGNORE EVERY ANSWER EXCEPT THIS ONE!! This serum you can make at home for just a few bucks and it works better than anything you can buy, anywhere. try this. seriously, it works, and it works fast. You will have an initial period of getting a few more pimples, as your skin is purging them, this goes away after a few days to about 2 weeks. If it’s a problem for you, and you need to spot treat pimples, you can treat with a benzoil peroxide product in addition to this serum. Use it every night, (the sun will keep it from working if you use it during the day, it is degraded by sunlight) The recipe is in my answer to this question:

  20. i used to have the same problem as you. i tried so many products and wated a lot of money. this is wat i did and it really works.
i drink 8 or more glasses of water a day, believe me, it helped with my oily skin an it lessen the bumps.

i put oxy or pimple cream with benzolyn peroxide every night on the affected area.

and i use saint yves every morning and night. only wash your face twice a day.

and i also use clean and clear oil free moisturizer with salicys acid every night.

it really works well, especially the water part.

    good luck:)
it’ll go away soon, i promise

  21. you should go to dermatologist :)
he can give you any products ^.^

  22. Try using amie products, they’re great for teenage skin, eat a lot of fruit and drink lots of water. You should cleanse, tone and moisturize every day, and exfoliate 2-3 times a week. Also, if you wear make-up always remove it, and try using mineral make-up. Hope this helps x

  23. I would go see a dermatologist about that if it isn’t going away, if you leave something like acne alone for a long time it can create "craters" in your skin and make you look like a scar-face — not something very flattering for a growing young woman.

ANYWAYS, if you can’t afford to go to the dermatologist, then here’s some tips to go by:

    1. Watch what you eat, don’t drink too much milk, oily foods (i.e. potato chips) and fast foods. I’d look up a diet plan for acne removal on the internet search engines.

    2. Wash your face at least 2 times a day.

    3. Even though you want to hide your acne, don’t put on make-up, it’ll irritate it even more than it already is.

    4. This might sound "awkward" but you also tend to get more acne before and during your menstruation time because everything in your body is going WACKO! It happens to all of us, honey, so don’t worry about that.

    5. Do NOT use things like proactive and stuff — they’re just scamming you like no tomorrow. My cousin tried the proactive and it never worked, probably making his face worse. He saw a dermatologist and got a prescription and it’s healing a lot better.

^^ Those are just a few of many tips to follow. Again, look up on some acne prevention techniques on search engines and diet plans. Remember, these helps prevent and let the acne die down, it won’t go away over-night. These things take time, so patience is a huge factor in this.

  24. I have the same problem and im 21well not really anymore anyways I tried all that crap that is above clean and clear, proactive, murad all of it I went to sephora and they gave me samples of every product that they thought would work and if it didn’t i went back and they give me something else. After going back like one time I got my regimen. sephora is a little price to be honest but nothing worked for me I had to use the pricey stuff for my crap to be gone but they do have an excellent return policy and they give the free samples. they are like the Beauty experts.

  25. ugh i have the same problem
    it sucks
use proactive. it dries out the
zit but it also dries out your skin
so when you sue it make sure
    you use a mousterizer

  26. I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I’m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I’ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It’s unique cause of it’s herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn’t work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.
