I NEED help with acne?!?

I in a perfect world, would like to have clearer skin by Saturday, but I don't have high hopes for that... I need all the tricks in the book to get rid of it, I've been reading all the past questions this whole afternoon. My main problems are: my nose has black heads, and very large pores. My forehead has weird acne bumps, that pop as acne but I don't think they're blackheads. My cheeks have an occasional blackhead here and there... PLEASE help with whatever you can, I prefer home remedies to stuff like Proactive, because I've tried whats felt like hundreds and most haven't worked...

  1. for blackheads, use "St Ives Apricot Scrub" and scrub until you can’t stand the pain anymore. then for existing acne take a cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide on it and dab it on your existing zits. when the peroxide dries, use a face lotion with salicylic acid.

for fast emergency destruction of acne, go tan your face the day before your big event. they will be virtually gone the next day, but they may come back after a few days

  2. ok first of all. stop doing things that trigger it.
like eating fats, oiling stuff, and alot of chocolate.
also, dont stress out, keep a positive attitude, and stay calm as much as you can.
get as much sleep as you can too.
I had the same problem as you a couple months ago, thats all i did, didnt use any kind of cream like proactive. and my acne just went away.

  3. clean your face with cold water everyday and especially after u sweat

  4. TRY THIS!! get some lavender oil mix a couple of drops with a tablespoon or so of milk then add it to a bowl of warm water and use a face washer and sort of scrub your face with it soaked do this for a couple of mins…. Lavender is a natural cleanser n its gentle so it will pull out the impurities n leave your face nice n soft….

  5. Hey maddy!

Now, although most acne treatments take time to display visible results, as most acne treatments start working from the INSIDE first, there are some things i can help you with.

Lets start with your main problem; your blackheads on your nose. This is a very common problem, as this is slap-bang in the middle of your T-Zone, so is prone to blackheads and acne. There are many methods to get rid of blackheads, i’ll tell you about the one that i think works best.

1.Steam your face over a bowl of hot water for 5-10 minutes, this will open up your pores and soften the blackheads in preparation for squeezing them out.
2.Wrap some tissue around your fingers and GENTLY squeeze the area just around the blackhead, try and get under the blackhead to push it out.
3.Once the blackhead has been squeezed out, wash your face with cold water, this is to close up the pore.
4.To finish off, apply some tea tree cream which is available from most chemists.

As for your acne "bumps" on your forehead, i’d suggest visiting your dermatologist who will be able to issue you with some acne medication that will soon clear that all up.

Also, a natural remedy that many ignore, and is useful for many things is WATER. Its great at getting toxins out of your body, instead of going through your skin pores, which in turn causes acne breakouts, it also improves the look and feel of your skin in general.

Remember, most acne treatments take weeks or even months to begin to have visible effects, but hang in there, it’ll go soon.
