I have acne what do u recommend?



I have acne and i only get it once a month really and for about a week when its really bad. I havent made an appointment with a dermatologist yet but i was wondering if anyone reccommended products that work really well on the face acne?


Oh or if anyone has anything to recommend for some acne on my shoulders and my chest? Its not that much but i wanna get rid of it!

  1. Neutrogena has their own version of Pro-Activ that works well.

    (It comes in a box)

    Acne-Free worked well for me for about 2 months.

    I never personally tried Pro-Activ because I simply don’t want to spend the money.

    Go for Neutrogena.

  4. use oatmeal and a washcloth and run it under warm water and scrub. also your doc will have somthing to give you
    but if you are young it could be hormones

  5. use oxy pads and oxy spot treatment. makes acne better in one day. but the oxy pads just take the dirt off ur face and makes ur skin really dry but the oxy spot treatment works really good

    they’ll give you some pills
    they work dead fast

    cleared my face up great!

  7. Washing your face, not using cover up cause it causes more acne, and proactive solution, also a good face wash cetaphil, or the swiss scrub with appricott, i cant quite remember what its called

  9. face: use oxy acne facial wash. they have two kind. a daily wash one and another one ( forgot the name)

  10. well you can try pro active if it’s to much money then try to buy something from wal-mart it works well on me. oh and drink lots of water 8 glasses but not at the same time cause then your stomach will hurt bad. do yoga stress causes pimples.

  11. if you only use this for short amounts of time I recomend Clearasil ultra acne scrub and cream (not moisturizer… acne cream) then use neutrogena spf 15 mouisturizer… if you have persistant acne use clearasil ultra daily instead of acne scrub. And for your chest and body acne I suggest mark by avon ‘bacne’ spray.

  13. Personally, Proactive didn’t work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salysic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying fo rme! Good luck!

  14. make an oatmeal masqe..
    •ground oats
    •honey
    •warm water

    -mix until smooth ( like cake batter )
    -spread evenly over face
    -let sit for 10 minutes
    -gently rub off

  15. Tanning that helped clear my pimples up and it made me look good too dried up everything on my back

  16. mix baking soda and cetaphil and use it daily. acne free worked for me for a while then stopped. also drink lots lots of water.

  17. Try taking Evening Primrose Oil. This has worked great for my and clearing up my acne. It is a pill you take orally so it will clear up your whole body. You can get it at any drug store, but I prefer to get mine from the health food store. I buy the Solgar brand. (I’m sure any brand will work fine) Just follow the instructions on the bottle, and drink a lot of water. Water helps keep your skin clear. Good luck.

  18. i would suggest getting a moisturizer with medication in it… it works for me… and if you use foundation get a mineral foundation… its better for you…

  19. Start with a good dermatologist.
    They will determine the severity of your breakout
    Products like Proactive work for some people, but after that didn’t help my daughter, I had to take her to the doctor.
    She had to take an oral medication for a while and was given a perscription for these wipes (Clindets) to use and a cream .

  21. dont use poactive it was a scam i used it for 1 year and no results!
    learn about acne and ways to prevent it.
    the only true answer to clear acne is a dermatoligest

  22. I used to have an acute case of acne when I was younger for many years; it covered

    my face, back, chest and posterior. I eventually healed myself without the use of

    drugs. I cured myself through DIET.

    -This is what you should ELIMINATE!!! quit eating eating it:

    fried foods
    White bread/flour
    starch combinations during the same meal (e.g. potatoes and pasta)
    soda/carbonated drinks
    sugar/corn syrup
    meat/dairy
    soft foods (processed foods)
    hydrogenated oils (in processed foods)
    fast food

    (my sister had eczema for a # of years; and I also told her to change her diet, but

    she wouldn’t listen. eventually, she took a massage course and it talked about the

    importance of diet, so she just tried quiting fast food and soda, when she did

    that, her eczema cleared up. now she listens to my advice.)

    -you should increase your intake of:

    fruits/vegetables, preferably organic (you should have a salad a day, at the least)
    8 glasses of water a day
    whole foods
    black and/or brown bread (whole grains)
    nuts

    -you should have a balance, of 80% alkaline (mostly FRESH fruits and vegetables)

    forming foods, to 20% acid forming foods.

    going vegetarian/vegan/raw foodist would help. it helps set strict goals and rules

    to follow. I had to adhere to these rules strictly, but mine was a severe case.

    eating this way comes naturally to me now.

    Basically, your eliminations are poor/sluggish; thats is why some people can get

    away with eating badly, but you may not. The reason changing your diet to the foods

    below will help is because your eating foods that are much easier to digest and

    elminate than those above. exercising will help, also.

    I would check out Edgar Cayce; without his advice I would probably still suffer

    today.

    He also said you can help yourself through exercise and osteopathic adjustments to

    your spine, he said this can create imbalances in your nervous system (if it isn’t

    in proper adjustment) which will affect everything else. I haven’t done this yet,

    as it is expensive; but I assume when I do, I will be able to better digest the

    aforementioned foods. Through DIET ALONE I have been cured for a number of years.

    Don’t believe the people who say it doesn’t effect it, I swear to god this will

    help. It helped me. =) good luck!
