I have acne on my chest, what do I do?

I have never had acne on my chest in my entire life (Im 24) and I woke up this morning and had it all over my chest! I didn't have it yesterday or last night, just woke up this morning and saw it in the shower. I haven't been using any different lotions, perfumes bodywash etc then I normally do. Why do I have this?? All I can think is I drank some milk of magnesia last night but I haven't found anything that says that its a side effect. I'm really embarassed, I've never had this issue before!
The only thing I did differently was I wore a tshirt to bed last night. Usually I wear camisoles or tank tops. Thats all I can think of.
I drink a lot of water, more than most people I know. We don't really keep any other drinks in our house other than soda. I drink diet, caffiene free soda maybe 1-2 a week, sometimes less. I drink water throughout the day and with all meals.
This was the first time I've used milk of magnesia, have never needed to before.

  1. Try washing your pjs, change the bed sheets and rewash your bras…if you havnt had already. In addition, i suggest you wear tank tops to sleep so that you can let the skin on your chest breath a bit. And if you happen to have an acne spot treatment, try using it on your chest acne.

Drinking water not only helps to flush out the impurities inside your body, it also give great results to your skin, so I do suggest drinking more water!

Hope you get rid of the acne! :D

  2. It could just be your hormones, even women who are past puberty can get this easily, all I can say is try putting on some zit cream and moisturise with a non-pore clogging sunscreen so your skin won’t get all dry and sensitive for the time being.

  3. I did have that. It cleared up too. Try putting a hot cloth on it to open the pores. Then you want to get an OIL FREE body scrub (made for acne). That should clear it up. Don’t pick and squeeze them it makes them red and irritated. If they don’t go away locate a dermatologist and see if the will do an extraction.

  4. First of all there are a lot of reasons why a person of your age has pimples. Alcohol poisoning will cause it. doing steroids will do it. Also being constipated will cause it. If you are taking Milk of Magnesia it is probably for constipation. The reason why this will cause acne is because of the toxins that have built up in your body from different types of food you eat. Your body has to discharge the toxins. If it can not be done by using the rest rooms then your body will find other ways. like the acne. once you get your system straight this problem will stop. detox your body drink lots of water. get some rubbing alcohol and rub it on your body. then get some neosporin and put on the acne. this will take care of it. The thing is you need to ask your self how often do you use the milk of magnesia? if you use it often you should think about getting some all natural colon helpers and take them regularly. they will help you stay regular. And help prevent toxin build up in your body.

  5. DON’T do anything without a doctor’s permission. You’ll be sorry if you do. Believe me. Try to go to a dermatologist maybe, that’s what they’re made for. We went there when i had a rash on my face and she was able to figure out what it was right away and I got rid of it just by using 2 creams. So yeah, just go to the doctor. Don’t trust the answers that tell you home remedies.
