I have A LOT of acne, how can I get rid of it?
I have acne a little on my face, a lot on my back, and some on my chest. I have tried using acne products but nothing is working. I went to a dermatologist and what they gave me didn't work. What should I do?
I don't have sensitive skin and when I pop a pimple it doesn't leave a scar. I have 'normal' skin, it isn't dry or oily.
I don't have sensitive skin.

•So, you have acne on your back
Back acne is also caused due to hormonal changes as well as any strenuous physical activity. The first problem can be solved to an extent by avoiding fast food, having a balanced diet, drinking lots of water and exercising. These help to get rid of toxins and extra hormones thereby balancing the whole body process. Moreover, exercising increases blood circulation and the skin absorbs more oxygen giving it a healthy glow.
The second problem, that is strenuous exercise, is often unavoidable especially for athletes, hence one could follow a few guidelines that could contain the problem. Exercise or a round at the gym causes one to sweat profusely, this sweat can cause the acne, and to avoid this it is best that the person uses non-clinging, light clothing. Again materials like lycra and wool should be avoided as they trap the sweat and also irritates the skin aggravating the problem.
After the exercise it is a must for an individual to have a bath to remove the sweat. Using soap and a scrub to wash off that dirt and grime would be very helpful. You could also treat the acne on your back by using a cleanser containing salicyclic acid and apply medicines containing benzoyl peroxide.
Other things that would do you good are:
1. Before getting dressed make sure your back is completely dry
2. Apply sunscreen before exposing your back
3. Try using clay masks to remove dirt from deep inside
4. Inflammatory acne can be treated by antibiotics, topical retinoids and also by injecting cortisone
5. Try to avoid hot and clammy surroundings and also stay away from cooking as well, as the grease from the cooking can aggravate blackheads and clogged pores leading to further acne.
Following these tips regularly should effectively counter your back acne problem however if it ..
thanks bye tc ….

Well there isn’t any specific way to get rid of acne but my tried and true method is pretty simple. When I take a shower, I wash my face using the warm water shampoo and all that jazz. then i turn the water to cold, wash my face back and chest and use conditioner. the warm water gets rid of oil and the cold closes up the now clean pores. oh and make sure to moisturize because I also like to use a mild exfoliate before I go to bed and that could cause problems if you have dry skin. Well, that’s pretty much it good luck and remember don’t stress about it because that makes it worse. most of the time you’re really the only one that notices it. Geez this is a long answer… but anywho good luck!

Go to acne.org. They have step by step instructions that have helped a lot of people I know and they also sell their own products. They even sell a brush made to distribute cleanser and acne treatment to your back.

Go back to dermatology. I’m wondering, did they give you oral antibiotics? I had bad acne, they put me on doxycycline, that worked wonders for a while. Then they put me on generic Bactrim, that worked even better. Since the bacteria in my body builds up resistance so quickly, they are going to put me on isotretinoin. I don’t go back there for another month, so we’ll see how that works. Ohh ya, my acne was bad, now it’s baby smooth. If they did put you on pills, give it time, for some people, they work very quick, but others it takes a while for it to start working, especially isotretinoin (accutane). If they put you on a cream, go back there and demand doxycycline. Tell them creams won’t work, and you feel antibiotics will work. Most acne is caused by an unequal amount of bacteria in your body. If your body has more bad bacteria than good bacteria, it will cause stuff like acne. The good bacteria fights the bad. I am about to do an experiment on my body. I read about probiotics, you can get them at a vitamin store. It is loaded with good bacteria, so I am going to stop taking antibiotics and start probiotics, hopefully it works. You might want to try these too.
I would recommend going back to derm.
Good Luck
