I don't want to wear a sweater to Homecoming but I have acne?

I have acne on my back and chest. It's not severe, but it's pretty noticeable. I'm okay with wearing a sweater in the car and stuff, but for pictures at least, people never wear things over their dresses. I don't want to subtract from the formality of the dress or seem to modest and I'd rather not wear it... it's just the acne that's a problem. And it's not gonna clear up in 6 days...

Could makeup cover it? Would that be obvious? Any ideas? Thanks!

  1. How about a lightweight scarf? Also called a shawl or a pashmina. It will cover your back and chest but not be as heavy and warm as a sweater. You can drape it elegantly over your shoulders. Lots of department stores carry inexpensive scarves in a variety of colors and designs.

Makeup might work temporarily but it will wear off as the night goes on.

  2. i think make would work.because when i go to home coming or prom or something like that, tht is exactly what ima do

  3. you could try make up, or get like those scarf things that some people rap around there back and arms

  4. I have the samme issue for my back only though. I suggest getting a hardcore face wash and try doing that 2 times a day and most will hopefully clear up.
If not , get tattoo coverup or just a really intense coverup.
Again if not , find a cute cardigan that looks good with your dress.
    HOPE I HELPED. (:

  5. Ok.
Step. 1. Use Neutrogena Redness Reducing Facewash or Glycerin soap
Step. 2. Use St. Ives lotion and wait for it to soak in before step 3.
Step 3. Use all natural powder foundation on problem areas on face, back and chest. Use lightly.
Step 4. Don’t stress over it too much.

If you want you can wear a silky scarf or shawl that matches your dress around your neck and you’ll barely be able to tell.

    Enjoy homecoming!
