I can't get rid of chest acne.?
I've done accutane and it got rid of all of the acne of my face and helped the acne on my chest a little, but now that i'm off the accutane i can't get rid of the acne on my chest. My face is clear however my chest still has moderate acne on it. I use a salycic acid bodywash and it helps slightly, but i was wondering if there is anything else i can do that could help me? Thanks.

I pretty sure your not suppose to get acne on the chest but keratosis pilaris. However, keratosis pilaris is commonly mistaken for acne most of the time. Also KP for short is kind of hard to get rid of. I am not sure if, in this case, you have KP but just in case. KP is a genetic disorder which disappears with age ( around 30). KP looks like acne but alittle smaller and reminds you of chicken skin. Keratin is a protein which is suppose to come out of the hair foillicle. However, people with KP their skin is clogged which the hair (in foillicle) is clogged with the keratin. It is impossible to cure but can be treated. Most acne creams would not help but some can. There is a product caled dermadoctor KP duty and scrub. BUT! If you have acne make sure not to pop them because they can scar. Just cleanse very well with a scrub and acne face wash. Use clean and clear with benzoyle peroxide. This should help :D

I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
I’m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.
Literally the best acne face wash I’ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it.
