I am sick of puberty acne and blackheads?

I am soo sick of those 2. Have it all over my face now. I wash my face daily with a face soap or whatever it is but I think that just stops more from developing but it doesnt remove the existing ones. I also have a cream from doctor whch is specifically designed to remove acne but I really hate using it. It makes my whole face ichy and after regular use it makes my skin and acne very dry, eventually the acne then falls off but I dont know if its good and i stopped using it. Do you know of some products that you have PERSONALLY tried and they removed acne as well as blackheads? Thx
ok ill try the proactive, but there are so many types of it. How is it called specifically?

  1. i would highly highly suggest proactive. i wasnt a believer of it until i actually tried it. after a month my skin was completly clear. start out with the 60 day kit. go to proactive.com.

there will be a breakout period that will last about a week..but after that it totally clears up!!

    good luck!

  2. i used oxy or clearisil pads to clean my face

  3. Same here. Best not to pick. Try proactive. Or go to a doctor, who can give you a pill that will relive acne.

  4. Proactiv works very well.

  5. Soap won’t exactly help. Use a special facial cleanser…
the best thing you could is ProActive.
I’m using it, it’s working great for me

  6. this is going to sound crazy but it works.
Boil a big pot of water on the stove then put a towel over your head and put your face over the steam from the water you just boiled. Dont get to close to burn yourself. The steam will open your pours. Do this for about 5 minutes then put a cold washcloth on your face to close the pours back up. Do this 3 days a week

  7. You ain’t the only one mate! I have tried every product, including the stuff from the doctors. I now get this cleanser from Lush called ‘Fresh Farmacy.’ Don’t knock it until you have tried it, not only does it stop the spots, it also makes your skin smell great and feel really soft. You can buy it on line (see below) or get in any Lush store.

  8. My brother uses Proactiv, and what a change it does for him.

  9. Well what I use to wash my face is Murad Claryfing Cleanser…and I got the set which is the cleaner, toner and the lotion…………………another one that I have tried is Proactive but it doesn’t work for me maybe it will work for you though………….hope that helps

  10. Start off with a facial cleanser, then a toner, then a moisturizer. The moisturizer will prevent your face from drying out. Cetaphil can be bought at the drugstore and is the best facial cleanser on the market.

  11. Okay, for blackheads AND acne, use Clearasil Clean & Clear Blackhead remover.

If you want to get rid of all blemishes for a long time, you have to go through a really long process each day.
    (personal experience.)
Start off with make up wipes (if you use them), stuff the soap & water.
Then use deep cleansing deep pore wipes (clean&clear).
    Then Clea&clear liquid blackhead remover.
    Wait 5 minutes..
    Moisturise, I use Nivea soft.

The moisturise is because all of the spot-cleaning deep pore stuff makes skin really dry, itchy & feeling horrible.
Though, you might be able to do that just after using your acne cream and that might solve the itchyness/dry?
    Good luck x

  12. I had a friend back in highschool that had extremely bad acne and finaly his parents let him acutane until the acne was back in control and then they took him off of it. He was on it for 2 yrs maybe less and now he is acne free. I dont recommend proactive becasue the cleanser has granuals in it and if you have as bad as acne as you are explaining than that cleanser would just make yours worst. I would talk to your doctor about other ways to take care of the issue.

  13. Ah, the ever-lasting question.
All I can suggest is maybe doing a cleanser, toner, moisturizer treatment every day.

I use Clean and Clear morning burst.

    1) Cleanser – First, put a warm damp cloth on your face, then take one or two squirts and make sure to rub it all over your face so it lathers, then leave on for 30 – 1 min. I usually start to feel a little tingling.. Then with a warm wet cloth, rub it off, or just rinse it off. (I find with the rinsing option it is harder to get it all off and it takes longer)

    2) Toner – After you pat your face dry with the cleanser, get a facial/cosmetic pad and put a little toner on it. Then rub it on your face going UP your face, but down your nose. The skin cells grow in a certain direction and so you must clean against it to get the dirt out. Now, this part is likely to sting, but that means it is working. Do not be alarmed, but if it gets REALLY painful, rub your face gently with a clean towel for a bit.

    3) Moisturizer – After you face is dry from the toner (it should feel a littlestone like) you need moistuizer to keep it, well, moist.. not dry. Use enough so you do not get flakey. I recommend about one to two squirts as well. Make sure you ge it all over your face and rub gently with clean hands until your skin absorbs it all. Pay extra attention to really dry spots. Moisturizer is also supposed to keep dirt out and keep your skin clean.

That is what I do every day. My sister used Proactiv, and it worked with her. So try that one too, but be sure to read the direction CAREFULLY.

Another option, is a little weird, but works WONDERS!
Fish oil is a natural skin cleaner. It took a week or two to see major improvements for me. It is expensive, but works. Get a bottle and take 1 kitchen teaspoon full in the morning, and again at night.
When the bottle is done, it is safe to move to fish oil pills.
The taste is unpleasent, so plug your nose when swallowing the liquid.. then have something full of flavour follow it.
You can take the fish oil as well as washing your face daily.

I hope this helps! Good luck!

  14. acne occurs due to hormonal changes.Males are more prone to acne than females. It can be controlled but may not stop occuring till probably 25-26 years of age.

Since acne involves face and causes ugly scarring i would suggest that you take a proper antibiotic prescription for a dermatologist.
