how to get the "natural" makeup look if you have problem skin?
i have acne and blackheads and large pores, so i've found i can cover it up fairly well with some foundation and powder and such. but now i'm reading that most guys prefer girls with the natural look. it's hard to go light on makeup it you're trying to cover up pimples and such...so do any of your girls have any tips for how i could get the natural look, and also conceal some of my acne/blackheads/large pores?

If you have skin problems that you have to cover up, you’re going to want to stick with using foundation and powder. And a little blush can brighten up your face and make you look awake – just don’t overdo it.
I think the "natural" look is referring more to your eye and lip makeup. Try wearing less eyeliner and in a lighter color, such as gray or brown. A brown mascara instead of black can also make a big difference. Try going light on your eyeshadow and only wear neutral colors, or you could try not wearing any at all. Going "natural" honestly means not overdoing it, not going without. The secret to makeup is making it look like you don’t have much on, and if you can pull that off then you’re set!

my dear, don’t worry about that.
Actually the most importantce is to clean your face very very clear every day, and keep it very clean also very moist.
Maybe you could try some cosmetics that not be very very thick, a thin and the color closed to your skin is quite smart.
Finally, keep a happy mode everyday. That’s imprtant. A good feeling keeps you lovely and younger most of the time.
Have fun!

First of all you need to find a concealer that matches your skin perfectly. Put moisturizer(try a pore minimizing lotion) on your face before concealer it will help it spread more evenly. Go to a department store make up counter, you will have a professional you can ask questions and they can give you advice on what exactly to use, plus you’ll be able to try on different makeup and find the best one that suits your skin. It’s a bit more expensive but you will look better and more natural. Oh and a little tip for applying concealer don’t stop at your chin, blend it into your neck, even if you have the perfect match.

I have the same problem. I’d get a good concealer and make sure your foundation matches your skin extremely well. If you can afford to spend about $30 on a bottle of foundation i would go to MAC, They’ll find a foundation that matches you perfectly.
Use a loose powder and some subtle blush.
As far as eyes go try a white or tan shimmer and only mascara or some brown eyeliner.
Hope this helps.

Cleanse your face using a gentle cleansing cream that suits problem skin. Then pat your face dry.
# Apply a moisturizer formulated specially for problem skin.
# Apply a concealer on the problem area; choose a shade that will suit your skin. Use a small brush or cotton bud to gently dab your concealer onto spots that need coverage.
# Apply the right shade of foundation. Be extra cautious in the problem area. After applying the moisturizer, wait for five minutes. This will allow the moisturizer to settle in well. Apply a thin film of foundation and blend it well.
# You can use pressed or loose powder of the correct shade all over your face.
# Apply the blush with utmost care. If you have problem with your cheeks you can avoid using a blush.
# For your eyes, use an eyeliner, eye shadow and mascara that will suit your skin tone.
# Apply a lip color or lip gloss to complete the look.
* Avoid wearing foundation, this will allow your skin to breathe better.
* Just apply a concealer to cover the blemishes.
* You can use a mineral powder foundation if you want no coverage.
* Blot away excess oil on your face just before you apply make up.
* If you have pimples, cover them by applying concealer.
* If you want to mask acne pitted scars, apply a cream based concealer into pits. Use a fine brush to build up layers.
Sensitive skin: If you have sensitive skin, you can use mineral powder makeup, organic makeup or natural makeup. These products do not contain any artificial colors or fragrances. They are also free from cheap irritating fillers.

the natural look refers to make up looking natural and not orange if you know what i mean ?
like, at least if your foundation matches your skin tone, then it will look natural.
however, all that make up will be clogging your pores and make it worse. i’m using bare minerals at the minute, i would suggest it if you can afford it. if you can’t try maybelienne or another range that does mineral powder foundations. they give amazing coverage for a powder and are kind to your skin
