how to get rid of stress related acne?

ok so my life is super duper stressful and its causing me to break out every day. like seriously i get one or more pimples every day. topical acne treatments dry out my face really bad and they dont work good cause the problem is coming from the inside. (stress)
and i can prove in like two ways that my acne is stress related. the kind of pimples i get are small and they are like trapped under my skin and they stay there for a long time. and i cant pop them. i wouldnt even call them pimples cause they are just bumps under my skin but it IS acne and its all over my face. mostly my cheeks. and also the reason why i know that my acne is stress related is cause whenever i go on a trip or stay over at a friends house for a few days my skin starts to clear up. so i KNOW that my home life is whats stressing me out and causeing my acne. im not gonna give up on trying topicals but if anyone has any advice about getting rid of acne cause by stressed specifically i would greatly appreciate it. thanks!
oh and also i really need a solution cause i just feel so ugly with all of this acne and it makes me stay out of public sometimes and it makes me depressed.

  1. There are many products sold for the treatment of acne, many of them without any scientifically-proven effects. However, a combination of treatments can greatly reduce the amount and severity of acne in many cases. Those treatments that are most effective tend to have greater potential for side effects and need a greater degree of monitoring, so a step-wise approach is often taken. It is highly advisable to ask your doctor about the tradeoffs between these treatments for any individual case, especially when considering using any of them in combination. There are a number of treatments that have been proven effective:

Cotton pads soaked in salicylic acid solution can be used to exfoliate the skin[edit]
    Exfoliating the skin

This can be done either mechanically, using an abrasive cloth or a liquid scrub, or chemically. Common chemical exfoliating agents include salicylic acid and glycolic acid, which encourage the peeling of the top layer of skin to prevent a build-up of dead skin cells which combine with skin oil to block pores. It also helps to unblock already clogged pores. Note that the word "peeling" is not meant in the visible sense of shedding, but rather as the destruction of the top layer of skin cells at the microscopic level. Depending on the type of exfoliation used, some visible flaking is possible. Moisturizers and anti-acne topicals containing chemical exfoliating agents are commonly available over-the-counter.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck!

  2. I’ve been using Neutrogena stress control

I Like it ;) it does not try out my skin

  3. Be beautiful on the inside and don’t worry so much about the outside. Also I’m sorry about your home life. Same here but i don’t have acne. ( P.s I’m a dude.)

  4. I used to have his problem this is what worked for me:

    - Eat a lot of raw & steamed vegetables,3x fruits, fish and a few nuts a day (like walnuts)
    - Cut down(or quit) on alcohol and salt
    - Cut down(or quit) on carbs (white rice, white bread, white pasta, diary, candy, sugars, pastries etc.)
    - Cut down(or quit) on transfats and saturated fats (chips, meat, diary, butter)
    - Get enough sleep at least 8 hours per night
    - Exercise at least 3 times a week (one hour a day is even better)
    - Check the labels on all your cosmetics. If you find "Fragrance","Perfume","Sodium Lauryl Sulfate" (SLS), "Paraben","Petrolatum", anything that ends with "-cone" or "sulfate", set that product aside. Try to only use essential oils on your skin and do not wash yourself with soaps that contain SLS and perfume.
    - Check your favorite products at: http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/
    - Drink at least 2,5 (73 oz) liters of water per day.
    - Minimize your stress, switch stressful activities with relaxing activities to keep a balance…

If you try this for 4 weeks you will definitely notice the difference…

    Good luck!
