How to get rid of pimples and oily skin?
For a couple of weeks now- i've been getting extremely oily skin, and im starting to break out a lot! I've tried popping a few pimples, but it always left a scar, and i can never get all of the puss and the "head" of the pimple out. I don't think popping the pimple is the best thing for me, and i wouldn't like to try it again. I also wash my face everyday using warm water first and cold water after to open and close my pores. I use Neutrogena Deep Clean washes, is this a good face wash to clean up all my pimples and take off all the dirt? Also, i've been using Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment and it's not working very well for me. It made my face red and kind of swelled up the pimples. I've tried using many different kinds of techniques such as toothpaste and putting ice and warm water on them- none of it seemed to work. Please give some tips and techniques that i could try to stop my acne and oily skin. Also, recommendations are helpful. Thank you!
-Nina (:
And i also have a party tomorrow, and there's a huge pimple under my nose that's very noticeable! I need a quick way to get rid of it, please help!

It sounds to me like your over cleansing your skin, yon need to stop using harsh chemicals on your skin & if any thing that makes your skin react badly should go back to the shop. deep cleansers should only be used once a week and a gentle cleanser should be used twice daily simple & gohnsons are good brands, toners are good for removing excess cleanser & closing pores, and wont shock your skin like using hot & cold water does, i noticed you didnt mention using a moisturiser, its an important step in your routine so try not to skip it, find a moisturising lotion as creams can be too heavy on the skin and clog the pores. Remember that the only reason your skin is so oily is because your stripping away the protective oil called sebum so its trying to produce more, with a good skincare routine your skin will even itself out. For the sore spots try Freederm gel it has an anti-inflammatory agent that will take the redness away & they will heal quicker. Drinking lots of water can also work wonders for oily skin.
Hope this helps

turn the tide into past then put it on your face. Becuase the tide would soak the oil and when you wash it off. The oil would be gone always dabbed your face not smear because if you smear you will rub the oil all over your face.

Hey.
Putting toothpaste on spots can sometimes help them to get better quickly and putting soap on your skin can dry it :)
Good luck

I use Clinique, it’s quite good but damn expensive so I only use it when I really can’t stand the amount of pimples I have. Also, keep your face clean, wash with warm water and a cloth at least twice a day. I find that a scrub helps sometimes too, I use St Ives Apricot Scrub because it’s nice and gentle, but I’m sure there’s lots out there that are nice. Just make sure you’re not allergic to any products before putting it all over your face.
Can anyone answer one or both of my questions? (I have two, about the book I’m writing.)

Whatever you do don’t pop them, it leaves marks that are ugly however, i have a better solution.
I use proactive and it is great stuff.
i had pimples and break out’s for a year but,
when i used proactive my skin was soft and gorgeous like 3 or 4 days later (:
It might not work if you have bad skin problems though.
hope it workks.
p.s make sure you wash with cold water.

Your teenage hormones are probably starting to kick in. Your on the right track to keeping your skin healthy. Remember to wash your face everyday. No more, no less. Don’t worry too much, apparently stress makes you break out even more. I used to be in the same position as you. But I drank loads of water (2 liters is good although don’t stuff yourself with water.) and washed my face everyday twice a day and even eat a bit healthier. Hope this helps! Good luck!
