  1. I used Proactiv but I think that acne.org’s Clear Skin Regimen is much much better. Proactiv works well for a while, but like most acne products, it loses effectiveness over time. Now, I only the Clear Skin products. They are cheaper and better than Proactiv. It works so well that my mom’s on it too :) I almost guarantee positive results if you properly follow the instructions on the website. This probably does sound like an infomercial but i just want to give good advice. The only problem is your sensitive skin. Both Proactiv and the Clear Skin Regimen would be harsh on your skin so if you decide to try either, you have to make extra sure that you also put on a good moisturizer. Good Luck! I hope it works for you!

  2. probally the people who get paid to do the commercials…..

  3. Acne free is another one in competition with proactive, it works much better and costs less, works faster and doesnt bother sensitive skin

  4. I use proactive and it works very well. Follow the directions and it will work great.

  5. it sucked…i used it and it made my face worse. i wouldn’t reccomend it

  6. The people I know who have used it are not especially impressed with Proactive, and it is expensive. You can ask you doctor to prescribe 4% Benzoyl Peroxide facial wash, which is a generic prescription, and which would probably work better for less money. (Wash face with it twice daily, leaving it on for 10-15 seconds before rinsing. Expect improved complexion in about a month.) Good luck.

p.s. maybe you can get your doctor to phone in the prescription without an office visit, which will save money!

  7. I bought proactiv 3 months ago and won’t go back to anything else…I first tried the 3-piece 30 day trial system for $19.95 loved it so much I then upgraded to the 3 piece system with bonus for $39.99. Money back guarantee. I don’t need to use it as often as it says for I have sensitive skin and can probably go another 3-4 months with the bottles I currently have. Many won’t read the instruction booklet regarding vitamin or prescription intake containing Iodine or RDA that will worsen acne even if using proactiv…Face the facts and see for yourself, Real Stories at: http://www.proactiv.com
