How do you shorten the duration of a pimple that has not surfaced yet ?
Sorry for the gross question but when the blackhead or whitehead is on the surface of your face, you can use acne creams and gels - what can you do when you can "feel" it right under the surface of your face but it won't break through the surface ???

Don’t use toothpaste (if offered) it could burn your skin.
Hot compress (Take a wet/clean wash cloth and heat in micro apply, repeat)
Just wash your face twice a day with acne wash, follow with a spot cream (acne cream) and you can also use a stridex type pad mid day to clean up any oil and dirt and dry out any acne.
It should come to a head or dry up – you can (if white) take a sterile needle to the center but use caution – and don’t squeeze it will just leave a scar and make you upset.

I use a little hydrocortisone cream on it and it seems to help.
