How do you get rid of those big, painful zits?

I have this huuge painful zit right under my nose from wiping/blowing it because of allergies. Its the kind that's under the skin, inflamed, red and hurts a lot. It reminds me of a cyst more than a pimple, but its not quite that bad. I've tried putting hot water on it to make it come to a head but it still hasn't.
My mom suggested putting rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol on it to kill the bacteria inside. All that did was make a top later of skin flake off on it. I wash my face twice a day with a facial cleanser and don't normally get acne, so I'm not ever sure how to treat these kinds of zits.

Is there any treatment, home remedies, over the counter product to help get rid of this pimple/cyst thing? Its really painful when i laugh or smile due to the awkward location of it, so any advice would be great.

Thanks in advance

  1. wait it out. It will go away on its own. You could pop it,but you risk infection, and scarring.

  2. try Bach’s Rescue Remedy cream, available at your health food store. It can be used for many ailments including burns and bumps

  3. read a bout : open the third & fourth link on : http://Www.rid-of-acne.info
