How do you get rid of a breakout on your chest?
I've been breaking out [getting lots of pimples] on my chest. It's kinda gross, no, really gross. :[
I don't know what I've done to cause them to occur, I don't know, puberty? They've appeared on my chest about 2 years ago, when I was about 14 and a half, and I still have them. I put acne medication on them [clearasil vanishing acne cream], and I always drink water, I don't wear tight clothing that would cause sweat/drt/bacteria to remain on my chest after working out during tennis/working out in general.
What's the best way to get rid of this chest acne, at least, for me, I want to have it all gone by spring break, this year, which is in mid-March, meaning, I want to get rid of my chest acne in at least 6 weeks, or a slightly longer.
I also have very mild breakouts on my face, mostly on my cheeks lately, sometimes where the acne occurs--my skin feels itchy and I want to scratch it or use my jacket or sleeve to wipe it, but I don't touch it. What can I do to prevent the mild breakouts?
I have scars on my chest, because I used to pick at the pimples on my chest when they first occured, but I havent picked on it since like the beginning of last year.
Is it just being a teenager, still? How long will acne take to stop occuring so often? My brother had it bad when he was my age, [14-19], but now he is 21, and he has almost no visible acne. He uses no acne products.
Is this still just that teen phase thing, acne?
I know acne will never permanently disappear, no matter what age, but I'd just like to get it off my chest [literally, pun intended], and reduce mild breakouts.
Thanks much!
I'm not looking for any smart answers, miss love</3.

Try a body scrub with some acne medication (2% salicylic acid or 5/10% benzoyl peroxide)
I really like the Neutrogena Body Clear Body Scrub and Wash with 2% Salicylic Acid and the St.Ives Blemish & Blackhead Control Apricot Scrub with 2% salicylic acid(you can also use it on your face) to exfoliate the skin.
I’m assuming your skin may be sensitive skin from your description of itchiness, this may mean you have to be gentle with your skin and use gentle products and scrub/wash gently. Always use a moisturizer! For sensitive skin, I really love Olay’s sensitive skin moisturizer. If your skin is oily, try oil blotting sheets!
For the scars, I would suggest Bio-Oil, it really does make the scars less visible but it takes alot of patience, otherwise you can just keep using salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. ;)
Other than that, I think you are doing a really great job at taking of your skin now, keep up the good work.
By the way, treating acne takes time and patience! ;) And if none of this works, I suggest seeing a doctor or dermatologist.
Hope that was helpful and I wish you best of luck in clearing up your acne. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask!

I’d say ask your doctor what the best options are :) Good luck!
