How do i reduce skin redness?
I am adolescent and have moderate acne on my chin, cheeks, and sides of my face, but the main and most worst part is the redness! Even where there isn't a pimple or blackhead, my skin is just red! >:| It gets annoying, even though I wear makeup, it still shows through sometimes, because my skin is very fair and oily. Please help cover it up and/or get rid of it.

Well I also suffer from skin redness its very embracing. When I go for party or for outing with friends its feel too. Finally I decide to do natural way to reduce skin redness, my skin specialist suggest to do these five steps:
1 Use ice to reduce any swelling associated with redness. This is especially important when you’ve popped a pimple.
2 Eat less spicy foods. The heat from the food might be causing inflammation on your face.
3 Stay out of the sun. If you must go outside, wear sunscreen and protective clothing to protect your skin from the harmful UVA and UVB rays.
4 Dry your face using very gentle and soft towels. Pat instead of rubbing.
5 Use organic and natural products to moisturize your face daily.
Try it..

You might have rosacea, so I’d look into that. But for your acne I’d suggest:
I recommend that you (or your parents) buy the "Clear" acne skin care line from paulaschoice.com. It will help you out so much, I promise. Read and follow the pamphlet included with the products.
If that’s too expensive, then go to Target/Wal-Mart/Walgreens/anywhere, and buy Phisoderm cleanser (one with salicylic acid) and use one pump-full in the morning and again at night, along with a light nightly application of Neutrogena On-The-Spot cream to your pimples. You can apply a thin layer under any makeup you wear. For moisturizer, I’d recommend using CeraVe moisturizing lotion (it should help keep the redness down), morning and night, after you cleanse but before you put on the On-The-Spot cream. Remember to be as sanitary as possible with your makeup – wash your hands before applying makeup and clean any brushes you use daily.
Also, don’t pick at your whiteheads, just squeeze gently, and don’t squeeze until they bleed. This minimizes the amount of time it takes for them to go away and also minimizes the amount of scarring you get after the pimple heals.
I would also recommend going to a dermatologist, they can give you advice specifically for you, and they’re trained. They can even give you free samples to use on your skin instead of giving you a prescription right away.
Good luck! :)
