First confirm your skin type. You may not have dry skin all skin feels tight and dry after cleansing if you have a few dry patches that could be combination skin more than just dry. Also you can use a deep cleanser but a light oil free moisturizer.
Check your skin type by cleansing your face then put nothing on for 45 mins to an hour and see how it feels. Tight and dry it’s dry, oily it’s oily but if the cheeks are dry but nose and forehead either fine or oily you have combination to normal skin.
For blackheads they must be extracted they don’t go away or rarely get cleansed away. I strongly suggest a professional facial but if you cannot afford it do an online search for a youtube video called How to Properly Extract blackheads there is a proper method that will avoid new breakouts and scars so do it correctly. Now you will want to tighten pores after extraction astringents usually work and they do make ones for normal to dry skin.
Now you can use a complete skin care regime for your skin type and skin concerns. Concerns are acne, wrinkles, discolorations uneven skin tone etc. Use them for your type. You need to cleanse, treat, moisturize and care for eyes. Now treat can be avoid if you have no concerns and/or moisturizing may be enough from a treatment but those are the basic steps.
Give a good routine time, underlying acne will come out if you get a dry patch but it’s clearing acne then don’t stop using that product cause it’s working first alter by using less or just on areas you need it or adding a treatment to add a bit of moisture.
Exfoliate regularly will help all skin types three times a week is a good start up it or reduce based on results.
See if these changes can get you on a good path.

Your problem is your creme cleanser. It clogs the pores, making them swell and get infected with bacteria, then turn into pimples. Wash your face with warm soap and water….and a very clean wash cloth AND clean towel. After the wash, try using "witch hazel" –very cheap at any drug store for bottle of it. Standard acne creams may be applied but must be washed off several times a day. NO MOISTURIZERS. –These clog the pores and CAUSE acne to get WORSE! Good luck. Your face will be smooth as a babies behind in no time!

try using a gentle cleanser, but don’t use a cream cleanser because it blocks your pores and don’t use an acne cleanser because it will dry out your skin, instead use a gentle cleanser use it twice a day
and you’ll also need to use a benzoyl peroxide cream, get a 2.5% if you have dry skin, also try not to wear makeup

I don’t have acne, but I get pimples from time to time really badly. I have tried pretty much everything to stop them.. proactive even (which didn’t work at all) and have finally found a product that worked in the first couple of days of use. It’s called YOUNG by natio. The cleanser + the Oil Free Moisturizer cleared up my skin in days. It smells good, and doesn’t have any of the harsh chemicals most acne products contain. I believe these chemicals are partially the cause of acne.

You never get rid of white/blackheads "for good". You have to get rid of them, then maintain a regimen to minimize their recurrence. You have a few options that I’ve used- Pore Strips, Blackheadmask-Before you use any method, I would recommend that you STEAM your face first. Be careful though. Get a pot, fill it half way with hot water, get it to boil. SHUT OFF the stove, and place your face above the steam. Again, be careful. You can also get a towel, soak it in hot water, and cover your face with it. Just make sure it’s not hot enough to burn your skin. Then, do whatever treatment you want to do. After the treatment/strip/mask- Rinse your face with COLD WATER, then close your pores with either 1.salicylic Acid, or 2. Benzoyl Peroxide/acne medication 3. Sulfur ( I use de la cruz 10% but it is very drying) 4. Tea Tree oil (I’m going to be trying this one soon) to kill the bacteria that causes them in the first place. Go to http://www.blackheadmask.com if you’d like to purchase the mask (20$) but shipping takes a couple of weeks. Hope this helps. Good luck!!!
