How Come Most People Don't Get Acne?
Don't come in here saying "Everybody Get's It one time or another" because that is not true, having one pimple is different than having a face full of zits. 95% of people in the general population don't 1 single pimple on their face, my face lately? Has been break out so bad, I'm so miserable, my face has always broken out I have senstive skin, but lately it's like gottan really bad!! I can't remember the last time I went out and did something , I rarely talk to anybody at work, in college I was always hiding and not talking to anybody. It's affected me psycologically and sociolly really bad, I have tried excercising, every over the counter treatment, every home remedy, changed my diet, tried all prescriptions, and their isn't ANYTHING it all breaks down to genes, it's so depressing, I live by myself now and I ran out of food, and I been so embarressed to go out even shopping to buy groceries, most people in general are shallow and they are quick to judge you and look down on you, so it's not even worth wasting your time out their. People say "The only person worrying about it the most is YOU".. Well that is true, but I wouldn't be so worried, if I felt like I wasn't always around shallow people, if acne was more common than ppl would treat you more normal but since it's not they look at you like a monster.....When my face is clear I am totally different person, I love making friends, going out, meeting girls, and I do have good looks, and LOVE living my life, but I been suffering way too long I have turned into a loser with no life what so ever, I wish all these spoiled kids that live perfect lives would get cursed with bad acne, it's not fair only a tiny percentage of people get literally CURSED with this while everybody else gets a normal chance. I got a doctors appt in a couple weeks, I'm going to ask for accutane, I'm absolutely hopeless, I'm fixing to quit my job soon bc of it and move back home with my parents, I'm 20 btw.. And I'm gonna take the semseter off and start in the spring. I'm glad some people feel my pain, but not everybody does, they could only say "try PRO ACTIVE!!" gimme a break, all that is exfoliator, toner, and lotion, I can BUY all that for 5$ at the store it doesn't work. They show all these commercials "CLEAN AAND CLEAR AND UNDER CONTROL!!" those girls u can tell never had one pimple maybe a little tiny one nobody could see. Shoot I'll trade them faces any day, all the countless day I've wasted struggling I can't wait to get on accutane, sorry so long I just needed to vent :-(

I know how you feel, my acne has ruined my life…the last time I had clear skin was in the 5th grade and now I’m in my junior year in high school! I’ve been through all of the horrible breakouts and it UGH!!!!
Most store products really don’t help…I go to a dermotologists and most of my acne went away…so they helped control it…it is well worth the money…
I know, I need to vent too. I hate having to hide under my hair, and my face is so oily too, so any foundation I wear ends up making my face look really dirty and gross! I am in there with you my friend…I know it seems like everyone has perfect skin! Though I know a couple people who have it just as bad as I do…I think the rate of perfect skin has decreased, so when everyone else breaks out and we have perfect skin…we’ll be the ones laughing! Good luck, acne= life ruined.

Have you considered that you might have a systemic yeast infection? I know they sound completely unrelated, but studies have shown that acne could be linked to a yeast infection in the intestine.

I feel your pain!
I am of the unfortunate with acne ):
It is really hard to have confidence these days
when a bunch of kids have flawless faces!
They don’t have to worry about anything! They don’t have to
worry about how much makeup they put on, or touching their faces
too much because our hands are full of germs!
Ughh….It is very hard and i hope that this accutane works for you!

Hey no problem vent away. I feel exactly the way you do. My acne is genetic and there is nothing i can do about it i have tried everything. I myself am trying one more thing and if it doesnt work im going on accutane at least thats what my derm said. Thank goodness my mom is willing to let me go on accutane. I have had this mess for like 3 years on my face a little bit and on my chest and back and shoulders and it freakin sucks! It is such a CURSE!!!! All these other kids have regular problems with boys and stuff but i have no idea what to say because i am too embarrased of my skin to date or even talk to boys! All i can tell you is dont stop going to college and dont quit your job dont move back in with your parents! Why?
